My backyard garden is a gathering place for all kinds of cardinals.Live cardinals fly in at will, perch, pout, and pose for the paparazzi.Cardinals made of wood, poly-wood, or ceramic stay put & do nothing.I just can't get enough cardinal! Don't ask me why. It's just the way I am.I cannot change the way I am. Nor would I want to.But I can change my surroundings. And I have.I have added a couple of bright-red wide-eyed flamboyant bohemian cardinals -- you DO see them, don't you? right over there, plain as day, the two of them -- flapping away and fluttering like crazy on a lively garden flag that keeps trying to catch the wind, but never succeeds in the attempt, or at anything else it tries.It does not try to be beautiful. It just is.The beauty of color presents itself to the eye.The eye takes it in. The mind likes it. The heart sighs. Life goes on.I had been dreaming of a garden flag featuring Vincent van Gogh's apricot blossoms.But the apricot blossoms in Wamika's “Red Cardinals Branch Almond Blossoms” garden flag are brighter.And the cardinals fit right in.The cardinals fit right in with the apricot blossoms.The cardinals fit right in with the garden.And the cardinals fit right in with the aviary.The aviary includes a baker's dozen birdhouses.Of those thirteen birdhouses, my favorite is the old, dreamy, faded one -- made of gingerbread.OK. So. There it is. I am a grown man. But I still believe in gingerbread houses. Doesn't everybody?Don't tell me no. I won't believe you. I will believe me. And I will believe in make-believe.I don't care what you say. I will continue to believe in gingerbread houses. No matter what.There now. So much for that.Now then. Let's change the subject. Here goes:As we look around, look askance, and look for trouble, we find it.Where?In Wamika's “Reindeer Elk Deer Winter Snow Forest” garden flag.That's where!When we look at “Red Cardinals Branch Almond Blossoms,” we see summer.BUT!When we look at “Reindeer Elk Deer Winter Snow Forest,” we feel winter.Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.ENOUGH!Having had my fill of the great out-doors,I turn my back on all that out there.Then, I re-turn to all this in here:The warm, wonderful world within my own mind.SILENCE!In the stillness of the night,I listen for. . . and I hear . . .Out there. . . in the distance . . .The soft whistle . . . of a faraway train . . .

Seems pretty well made. Great price.Very vintage 1960s-80s look and feel.Wife will not let front of house LOL...But wants it hung up in back someplacewhere she can see it during day.... :--)I love it.....

Overall liked the flag, but the colors are quite faded and not bold and vibrant as the picture suggests.

This is nice, probably won't last long but it is only seasonal so it might last a few years. The color is not really very bright and is is not really 2 sided, you can see the color through to the other side, but it is very washed out on the back.

This was intended for outdoor display and it seemed to lightweight.
