Shadow on the Mesa Hardcover – October 22, 2014

I loved the movie so I bought the book to read it too. It was a good story. I will read and watch it again, I am sure. They have changed the story a little for the movie but it didn’t change the impact of the story.

This was a good western story and it was hard to put the book down. I have the movie which is great but different a little from the book. Both are good and I am glad I purchased both.

I watched the movie more than 20 times then I got the book! It is one of the best westerns I have enjoyed in many years. Louis L'Amore has always been my favorite author but this rates right at the top with his! This book is ideal for any age reader. Well done.

This is a very nice read that will keep you enrolled in the story from beginning to end. If you like Louis L'Amour or Zane Grey westerns, you will like this book by Lee Martin

Very entertaining. Holds your attention from start to finish.

Just plain horrible. I bought this thinking this author was someone else. There is an author with the same name who I have read and enjoyed his stories and writing immensely. To my dismay, there are two Lee Martins' and the author of this book was not the one I was looking for.I read about 3 chapters of this book before I clarified my mistake. So before you make the same mistake, do the homework that I should have done before you waste you time. There is no way to compare this Lee Martin to the Lee Martin I was looking for other than to say the difference was night and day. No fraud or other funny business involved, just two authors with the same name but different talents.
