Fotover ET-74 Lens Hood Replacement Sun Shade for Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0 L USM Lens

Fits well on my 85 mm canon lens, recommended.

Apparently this one fits better and is less likely to fall off than the official canon version. I do not like the attachment method which allows it to rotate in the lens, however this is 100% canon's fault and their version works the same way I believe. Not sure why the 85mm f1.8 does not use the bayonet attachment method but this is not Fotovers fault and they are just working with what they can.The hood is solid and seems to be good quality plastic. I have noticed no extra vignetting while using and it's not visible in the frame at all. I really only use this to protect the front element from my greasy meat bag fingers when I'm fumbling for my camera when it's hanging from my dual camera harness.

Fits lens ok but is not as tight as original. Does work ok and considering price it is good value for money.

Its an ok hood. It does the job, only thing is its very loose fit. Where the original one is a tight and secure fit, this one JUST stays on. but for the price you cant go wrong with it.

Arrived quickly, works well but was not able to fit when CPL filter was attached to lens. Returned for refond
