Rembrandt Magnetic Whiteboard Eraser - Dry Erase Pens and Markers - Ergonomic Design Prevents Cramping

Not as magnetic as I'd hoped - at least, not enough to hold up it's own weight because it's very heavy for an eraser! No idea why it's this heavy. I would assume the magnet itself except it isn't that strong - I've seen other erasers with the same idea as this but they are very lightweight and stay up better. It sticks to my fridge just fine but will slide down both my whiteboards (they are separate brands too).The positive is that it has felt for the erasing part, and while it's thin, there is a piece of something (rubbery?) underneath it which makes precision erasing fairly easy, using one corner of the eraser. Of course it works great for erasing large swaths of board too, but I'm usually erasing just one word here and there.

Well, I purchased this and it was excellent. My professor forgot hers and used it and that was the last time I saw my baby sadden. I have not had the opportunity to purchase another until today. Yeah, It is so nice comfortable in hands, Ligh weight, wide eraser bottom. It is worth purchasing and perfects as a gift also keep in mind it is the wide bottom. Perfect for my studying groups Nursing student drawings of body parts and organs and such.

I love this eraser! I spend a lot of time white boarding in my day to day work activities and I got really tired of the standard, non magnetic, blah looking stock eraser. I was looking for an eraser that was magnetic and also had some "shape" to it. That is when I came across this gem. Its about the size of a standard mouse and fits in my hand perfectly. There are two thumb indentations on the eraser and being a righty, they work perfectly for me. There is a wide, flat end to the eraser for those swipe and start over moments and a more thin, rounder end to it as well for a more surgical erasure. The magnets keep this thing attached to my whiteboard wall and I could not be happier! I would buy this again without hesitation.

It erases... but I bought the magnetic eraser so that it would stay on my dry erase board, which it didn't.I put it on my dry erase board and its own weight let gravity drag it down. I tried it on another metal board surface and it didn't stay as advertised.Disappointed.

Before this came into my life. I was always knocking my dry eraser off the holder. And having to bend over to pick it up like a sucker. No more, now that I can just slap it against the surface of any dry erase board.

I really love this eraser so far! Excellent, strong magnet! The pad is not thick, but it erases very nicely. I haven't had to clean it yet, but am wondering how it will clean up. The eraser fits my hand well and is always handy when I need it. The size is not too big or too small -it's a bit wider than the typical Expo eraser.

I wanted to like this eraser... I really did. As far as erasing the dry erase marks it does a great job. The issue is with the magnet inside. It lost it's power after only a few months. Every time I walk into the kitchen now I find it laying on the ground. It's not a matter of my refrigerator either. I have tested the eraser on other surfaces and the results of the same. I'd look elsewhere if you want a product with a lifespan longer than a few months.

These were actually purchased as little "goodies" for teachers at the beginning of the new school year. I put them on a whiteboard and it was several days before I checked on them again and they were right where I left them. So far, they live up to my expectations
