I buy loosening pudding here since it's impossible to find in stores & works GREAT for my 3A/B curl
PICTURE: Note that this is after about 14 hours from initial application, so the fact that the "helix" in front is still intact is pretty good! I have to admit that I never thought I'd be buying this from Amazon, but anyone with curly hair who likes Garnier products KNOWS that they like to change products on us. I found this after they eliminated a previous curly hair product that worked really well for me, and now the loosening pudding is not a single store shelf near me. I towel dry my hair and apply a little bit to my palms and run it through the lower part of my hair, then use my fingers to twirl curls to help define them and let them air dry. This picture is after I've been out and then sitting with the back of my head against the sofa, so that's why it does look a little matted, but this was taken about 14 hours after I initially applied the loosening pudding. I will tell you that I have since bought the following new (as of spring 2019) products, which do not deliver the same results as this product: - Garnier Fructis Curl Treat Butter Hydrating Leave-in Styler to Shape Curls (it doesn't work as well and the smell is overpowering) - kind of crunchy and I *detest* when my hair ends up crunchy!! -Garnier Fructis Curl Treat Jelly Shaping Leave-in Styler to Shape Curls (same results - it doesn't work as well and the smell is overpowering) -Garnier Fructis Curl Treat Smoothie Defining Leave-in Styler for Soft Curls (I had higher hopes for this one, but again, its smell is overpowering and it doesn't work as well) The ONLY product on store shelves that (currently, seems like that's a relevant caveat for Garnier) comes close to the same results without an overpowering fragrance is: -Garnier Fructis Curl Nourish Butter Cream, which comes in a round bottle, a lighter shade of green than what the company's current products come in.

It doesn’t make your hair dry and hard like gel and worth the price!
I have been using this pudding/cream from garnier for more than 3 years now and I can say it’s the best ever! The price is awesome, the smell is great and works well for everyday use. It doesn’t make your curl hard like a gel but keeps the frizz away and make the curl look clean usually for up to 2 days which is very good for a curly hair girl! I usually add couple drop of oil to it for more nourishing the ends of my hair!! * let your hair air dry and when it’s almost dry but still a little moist, wet your hand and take some of the cream plus couple drop of your favorite hair oil and apply to your hair ( this make your curl happy)! Definitely worth every penny and will buy more and more and tell everyone who has a curly hair to buy!

Smells nice and holds curls nicely, but doesn't do what it advertises
I like the texture and the lightness of the product. It holds my curls nicely and doesn't leave a crunchy feeling at all. For that it would be 5 stars. Unfortunately, it doesn't do at all for me what it advertises: stretch or relax curls. My curls look just as tight as ever. (I think I'm a type 3). I will have to keep looking...

Does wonders for my hair
I have tried many products throughout the years but this one is my favorite so far. Had been ysing it for the last three years and ir always does the job. I was skeptical at first as it is pudding and nit a gel or foam, but quickly saw that is really great and smells awesome. Keeps my hair curly during the humid summers in Illinois. I usually apply on a dump hair and it keeps .y hair curly and nice looking between showers.

Greasy
Stretches curls and looks okay however don't put too much on because it's very greasy. It made the top of my head look like I hadn't showered in a while. Be sparing and only use mid to end.

Simply the best for my curly 3b? 3c? hair
This is like the dream product I've been looking for for years. There are gel products that I've used that I like, but they leave my hair crunchy and untouchable. This defines my curls in the same way, but leaves it soft. I let my hair air dry with a teaspoon--more or less depending upon the weather--on my medium length hair. I don't mess with the curls until they are totally dry and I usually leave them alone, but with Curl Stretch if careful I can run my fingers through the curls without creating frizz.

AMAZING - Definitely try!
The best product I have ever used on my very thick, curly hair. Truly a game changer. My curls are soft and defined. Nothing has worked like this and I’ve tried Olaplex (6&7), all other curly fructis products (which didn’t work great for me), Suave curl products, Pantene curl products, Bumble, Kerastase, and countless more. Definitely worth the money. I cannot believe how inexpensive it is. Such a deal.

Love the product but the listing is wrong
I love the product. Always have. It does wonders with my loose wavy hair. But the ONLY reason I’m not giving it 5/5 stars is the amazon listing said it was a 3 pack and I only got one.
