Fintie Origami Case for 7" Kindle Oasis (10th/9th Generation, 2019/2017 Release) - Slim Fit Stand Cover Support Hands Free Reading with Auto Wake Sleep, Denim Charcoal

I replaced my old Kindle Voyager with the Oasis last year (along with the Amazon Kindle leather cover) and loved everything about it except for one thing: not having the origami feature to set it on a table and read hands-free - especially for air travel. So, I ordered this and I'm happy to report that it does everything that it's supposed to do. It looks good, the workmanship is better than I expected (nice stitching around the edges), fits nicely, the cover works as it should to wake or sleep the device and, most importantly, works very nicely as a sturdy stand on a table so I can read without holding the Kindle in my hand. The angle is just right (at least for me) and feels quite secure so that it won't knock over easily - especially on an aircraft tray table. I air-traveled a few times last year with the Kindle Oasis and really missed the origami case that came with the Voyager so I'm very glad that someone decided to address this omission that Amazon made with the Oasis. One thing I want to point out is that it's a bit on the heavy side and adds a noticeable amount of heft when compared to the Amazon leather case. I think that has to do with the cover which also needs to be a sturdy stand. If I want to read the Kindle in my hand, I'll definitely take it out of the case. Overall, I'm quite happy with this. It's a very good value, looks handsome, protects the Kindle very well and does everything it is supposed to do. Now I can look forward to reading in the plane hands-free but it seems that won't be happening for quite a while!

The library photo reminds me of the Harry Potter Hogwarts library. It's a very heartwarming and rich photo. The build of the case you snap the kindle oasis into is secure and flush with the device's ergomonic design. I didn't really buy this case for its origami features such as the ability to prop it up, I just liked the way it looked, and how easy it was to pick up the edge flap to make the device turn on (with the sleep/wake feature). This is a quality case with slimline features. Fintie honestly has the best cases, in my humble opinion. If you don't want a bulky case for your Kindle Oasis, this would be a great choice for quality and functionality.

I bought a 10th Generation Oasis at the same time as the origami case, which arrived a day apart. I've been a Kindle user for ten years (4 different models) and this is the best cover yet. The origami design folds to become a stand (though I had to experiment with it, as no directions were included in the shipment) and has magnets to keep its shape as a stand. When I close the cover it firmly latches. That's perfect when I'm reading at the table, desk or in bed. It's light-weight and shaped like the Kindle Oasis which both of which have a molded side for a secure grip. This cover has several patterns and colors to choose from too. I purchased "Jungle Night" which I think is not only attractive (and upbeat) but its bright colors make it quite easy to locate in a room. This item is reasonable priced, of solid quality and holds up well!

Well, I recently upgraded to the latest Kindle Oasis, and my old case did not work with the new Oasis. I had my previous Oasis with the Amazon case for two years. I was always disappointed when trying to stand it up for reading while eating breakfast. It wasn't steady and it never stood up in the position I desired. When I upgraded to the new Oasis, I decided to get a colorful case instead of sticking to charcoal grey or black. When I owned a Dell Venue Pro 8, I had a Fintie case that fully protected the tablet. I once dropped my previous Oasis on a concrete sidewalk and Amazon case provided no protection at all. Luckily, it landed on a corner and suffered only a minor dent. I dropped my Dell tablet a few times and I observed that the Fintie case provided a lot more protection. This Fintie case offers plenty of protection and is beautiful to see. The Oasis turns on automatically when you open the case. It provides an excellent grip with the cover flipped behind. The stand only provides one position, but it's perfect for reading hands free at breakfast!

Amazing Kindle Oasis case, I can hold it easy and even set it up easily on a table

This is the first case I've used my first Kindle Oasis. The design (Emerald Illusions) on the web site is true to what I received and it's really beautiful and I enjoy reading with it. Re: weight, I gave it 4/5 on "Light weight" but only because it does have some heft to it but I like to have that when I carry it around as it feels more like a real book. The origami front cover stand feature is very sturdy and is totally folded into the into the front cover: the fold of it is very think and feels amazing and it does not buckle when it's being used as a cover again. I would order other designs of this. There are not a high number of Oasis covers to choose from and those that are either are super expensive or super plain/ugly. This one is really nice for the price.

I really like my Kindle Oasis but it was too light and slippery for me to hold comfortably. This cover adds weight and a surface that is much less slippery. The cover turns off the device when closed and turns it back on again when opened. The cover folds into a stand for the Kindle so that you can set it on a counter and magnets snap it into place. I use the folded cover as a handle for the Kindle when reading in bed. Overall a useful accessory for my Kindle and beautiful to look at.

This product is cheaper than the Amazon basics option and surpasses it's quality. The origami stand is a nice add on feature and the closing and opening sleep mode is great. There was a loose thread but it was easy to remove and didn't cause any real problem. The fact that it's fabric makes it a good texture and easy to grasp. Thank you!

El imán es muy fuerte , no te tendrás que preocupar que se caiga a la hora de leer cuando estés utilizando el origami, la calidad excelente, se ve muy durable y de buena calidad

Good product but too costly

Se ve de buena calidad el material y el cierra (otra que tenia se encendia sola con solo deslizarse un poco). Pero tengo en contra que llegó con estas hebras así deshilachadas. Lo cual no habla muy bien del producto. Por eso 4 estrellas. Pero satisfecho. Tiene buenos imanes. Si buscas algo ligero no... está pesada.
