I have to write this review, because I was so worried from all the other reviews that these Bluray discs were not going to work in my Bluray player... I actually put the set in my basket and purchased and then continued to read reviews and ended up canceling the order.I looked for the movies from other retailers and you can’t even get one movie for the price that this seller at Amazon is selling for all three... So I contemplated how much I had to lose—under $25–and put the movies back in my basket and purchased. I am so glad that I did!The movies arrived quickly with Prime and in good condition. They looked like all my other Disney Bluray movies. I immediately opened them up and started to play them in my LG Bluray player that I purchased at Walmart a few years ago. The first one played just fine. I skipped through every chapter, and no problems! The second and third discs were perfect as well. Sound was good, picture was good and all the original actors were voicing the characters in English (I had read some reviews that the original actors weren’t voicing the characters...)And... not only did they play in my LG Bluray player, I tried them out in my car rear entertainment center Bluray player and they worked perfectly in there as well!So, if they are “fakes”, I can not tell. I will be able to let the granddaughters catch up on 1, 2 and 3 just in time for Toy Story 4 to come out in June! Very pleased, and glad I made the purchase!!

I have to say, for how cheap I was able to get this for the fact that only the DVDs had minor scuffs that easily cleaned off was rather shocking but certainly still worth what I paid for the set, I would absolutely buy from this seller again if everything else they have is this well kept

I've seen several reviews complaining about a UK release of all three Toy Story movies won't play in North America. The UK (i.e. Great Britain) is in Blu-ray Region B. North America is in Blu-ray Region A. ASIN B010FURLH4 is Region Free.https://www.amazon.com/s?k=B01FURLH40It will play in any Blu-ray Region: A, B or C. I've tested it in an All-Region player that can be set for any region and the discs are all marked for all three regions. I've also seen complaints some of the discs won't play, or stop and lock up when playing the movies. All three of mine played just fine and I've got a Blu-ray scanning utility that checks disc integrity. All three passed without any track or sector errors.I will skip reviewing the movies themselves as they are so well known at this point and there are zillions of reviews on them elsewhere (use Google). As I would expect with modern animations, the transfers are impeccable with exceptional audio. This UK release is currently (as of writing this) the perfect "budget" alternative to the US release which is nearly three times as expensive (and IMHO overpriced).

It took a lot of patience on my part but here we are. I waited for these films to come in one package. Not buying the DVD versions. Waited when the third film came out in theaters and Disney released the previous two on Blu-Ray in separate packs. Waited, despite the begging from my wife and daughter to get the films already. But I held out... And now THEY ARE MINE! (Insert evil laughter here.)So is it everything I had hoped for? Well, I have to say yes. Here is my take on it.The set comes in a beautiful box that is as colorful as the films themselves. Open it reveals a mini version of Andy's toy box and opening that reveals the discs, held in place by pre-formed foam. The toy box itself is adorable and I don't mind the lack of jewel cases. The only problem is that the slots where the discs slid into are delicate and continuous use will probably wear them out. Plus its very easy to confuse the slots and place the discs in the wrong slot. Aside from that, the presentation looks awesome in my opinion. Some better execution would have made it better. The box now sits proudly at the top of my movie collection.The collection has 10 discs. A BD version of the films, a DVD version and a Digital Copy version, which is pretty much par for the course for a Disney release. The DVD versions will of course have permanent play on our mini-van. The tenth disc is the Bonus Features of the stand alone release of the third film. Many have cried foul over this fact as many were hoping the tenth disc was going to be unique for this release but alas, it was not to be. For me, there are two possible explanations: 1) Disney simply tried to homogenize the release. the other two films have their respective previous special features. The third film is the only one of the three released in the Blu-Ray era so to be faithful, they threw that in. 2) In an effort two make us double dip, they held out any new extra content for a future inevitable anniversary edition of this collection. The reaction to this is completely understandable I think, considering just how good the extras on Pixar films have been but here is the reason it doesn't bother me one bit:The transfers to BD of all three films is SO good, I forget everything else.As it turns out, my patience was rewarded twice. In my stubbornness to wait out this collection I found myself asking my brother to lend me his DVD versions of Toy Story 1 & 2 1 week before this box came out hoping to calm my daughter's desperation as she simply loves these films. This gave me the opportunity to make a side by side comparison and I have to tell you. These transfers are impressive. Most impressive. The BD editions simply blow any previous releases out of the water. Those familiar with Pixar Blu-Rays will find no surprises in that last comment but since Toy Story is the first (and therefore oldest) film n the Pixar canon, I wondered how it would turn out but I should not have worried. Watching these films on Blu makes watching the DVD versions look like trying to watch a movie screen through a screen door. You have not watched these films until you watch them on Blu-Ray. Even if you saw them in theaters. They are that good.So, is it worth it? For me, absolutely. Since I don't own a previous version of any of the films included here, this collection is downright perfect. However, owners of previous editions who might be looking for more can be(and have been) dissapointed. So despite the little flaws in the packaging I give it a solid 4 stars. The digital transfers alone are worth the price of admission and besides, buying all three films separately costs pretty much the same anyway. Highly recommended.

3 películas por muy poco precio. La única pega, qué se le puede encontrar, es que no se puede poner en español, solamente inglés, árabe, ruso, y algún otro del estilo. En mi caso le pongo las películas en inglés a mi hijo por lo que no fue un problema, pero si me sorprendió.

Ich schreibe nahezu nie Rezensionen über Filme, da es meistens eh so viele gibt, dass sich der Käufer immer ein gutes Bild machen kann. Doch bei dieser Trilogie konnte ich einfach nicht anders und und habe mich sogleich an den PC geschwungen, nachdem ich den dritten Teil zu Ende gesehen habe. Zu dem Zeitpunkt als ich mir die Trilogie bestellt hatte, kannte ich nur Teil 1 und 2, und war neugierig auf Teil 3. Ich habe alle Filme binnen kurzer Zeit geschaut und möchte mich schon einmal dafür entschuldigen, dass ich hier so stark meine eigene Meinung einfließen lasse, da ich nicht wüsste wie ich einen Film gänzlich unparteiisch bewerten soll.Toy Story 1:Kurze Inhaltsangabe (ohne wichtige Spoiler):Woody ist eine Cowboy-Puppe und das Lieblingsspielzeug von Andy. Er weiß wie der Hase läuft und ist deshalb ein Oberhaupt im Kinderzimmer. Alle Spielzeuge respektieren und lieben ihn. Als Andy jedoch Geburtstag hat, kommt ein neues Spielzeug hinzu. Buzz Lightyear ist ein hochmodernes Actionspielzeug der Sci-Fi-Klasse und lässt Woody schnell alt aussehen. Plötzlich haben alle Spielzeuge im Zimmer nur noch Augen für Buzz und Woody wird eifersüchtig. Als plötzlich, durch ein tragisches Missgeschick, Buzz aus dem Fenster des Kinderzimmers fällt, wird der Cowboy schnell verdächtigt. Kurz darauf versieht auch Woody sich außerhalb des Kinderzimmers und muss nun mit seinem Rivalen Buzz, alles daransetzen um es zurück in Andys Zimmer zu schaffen und seinen guten Ruf bei den übrigen Spielzeugen wiederherzustellen.Eindruck:Teil 1 der Toy Story Trilogie, ist der aller erste Animationsfilm von Pixar in Spielfilmlänge. Mittlerweile hat der Film also schon einige Jahre drauf, was man auch als Zuschauer merken dürfte. Nicht nur an der Qualität der Animation selbst, sondern auch an der Dynamik des Films. Da die Animation zu der damaligen Zeit nicht hätte besser sein können, wäre es unsinnig sich darüber negativ zu äußern, zumal der Unterschied von damals zu heute noch verkraftbar ist. Die Geschichte selbst ist amüsant, nimmt jedoch erst mit dem Finale so richtig Fahrt auf. Doch auch das soll man bitte nicht falsch verstehen. Für einen Kinderfilm passiert da mehr als genug und als Erwachsener ist es schön die Anfänge zu sehen. Der Anfang einer Spielzeugtruppe, als auch der Anfang eines Studios, welches uns noch viele gute Filme beschert. Nicht umsonst hat dieser Film quasi das Zeitalter für Animationsfilme eingeläutet.Toy Story 2:Kurze Inhaltsangabe (ohne wichtige Spoiler):Die Spielzeuge in Andys Kinderzimmer sind in Alarmbereitschaft, denn ein Flohmarkt wird direkt vor der Haustür veranstaltet und wie jeder weiß, landen dort schnell ausrangierte Spielzeuge. So ergeht es auch einem kleinen Quietsche-Pinguin, der nicht mehr Quietschen kann. Die Spielzeuge sind entsetzt dass ihr Freund verramscht werden soll, doch Woody startet im Alleingang eine Rettungsaktion und begibt sich auf den Flohmarkt. Da passiert die Katastrophe. Woody wird von einem Sammler entdeckt, der ihn prompt mitnimmt. Nach einer kurzen Analyse des Kidnappers, begeben sich Buzz, zusammen mit einigen anderen mutigen Spielzeugen, in ein Abenteuer. Woody muss gefunden und gerettet werden.Eindruck:Teil 2 legt ordentlich eine Schippe drauf. Die Animation ist selbstverständlich fortgeschrittener, aber die Story ist das beste. Man bekommt mehr Tempo, mehr Gags und mehr unvorhersehbares als im ersten Teil. Alles wirkt eine Spur größer und es kommt bis zum Schluss immer wieder Spannung auf. Besonders angetan haben es mir Buzz und sein Erzfeind Zurg. Die Dramatik die durch beide aufkommt, driftet schnell in gute Comedy ab und wird dann noch von Star Wars-Referenzen gekrönt. (Fun fact: Skywalker Sound hat passenderweise an dem Film mitgearbeitet.)Toy Story 3:Kurze Inhaltsangabe (ohne wichtige Spoiler):Die Zeit vergeht und es kommt wie es kommen muss. Andy ist 17 Jahre alt und im Begriff aufs College zu ziehen. Woody, Buzz und die anderen Spielzeuge sind ihm noch treu, liegen jedoch nur noch in seiner Spielkiste herum. Es herrscht Besorgnis. Wird man aufbewahrt, verschenkt oder gar weggeworfen? Durch eine Verkettung von Umständen und Missgeschicken, finden sich die Spielzeuge in einer Kindertagesstätte wieder. Alle freuen sich darauf, dass sie bald wieder als Spielzeug funktionieren. Lediglich Woody ist gar nicht begeistert. Er will zurück zu Andy und ihn nicht im Stich lassen. Kaum tritt der Cowboy den Rückweg an, entpuppt sich das Paradies als Ort des Schreckens. Als Woody erfährt dass seine Freunde Probleme haben, zögert er nicht und macht sich auf sie zu retten.Eindruck:Ich würde gerne sagen dass Pixar hier wieder eine Schippe drauf gelegt hat, aber das stimmt nicht. 10 Schippen treffen es wohl eher! Ich möchte hier nicht die Erwartungen zu hoch schrauben, doch die lange Zeit die zwischen Toy Story 2 und Toy Story 3 vergangen ist, spiegelt sich positiv in allen Belangen des Films wider. Animation, Dialoge, Story usw. haben mich absolut überzeugt. Zumal ich erst skeptisch war, dass Woody nun eine neue Stimme hat. Denn in diesem Film wird die Cowboy-Puppe nicht mehr von Peer Augustinski, sondern von Bully Herbig gesprochen. Eine Änderung die mir als absolut unnötig erschien, wo doch Herr Augustinski eine hervorragende Performance abliefert und Woody sogar im Trailer zu Toy Story 3 erneut seine Stimme lieh. Als unnötig sehe ich das ganze zwar immer noch, doch Herr Herbig hat einen so tollen Job gemacht, dass man sich sofort daran gewöhnt. Kinder werden den Unterschied vermutlich nicht einmal bemerken.An dieser Stelle möchte ich jedoch auch kurz Herrn Augustinski danken. Für die tolle Leistung in den ersten beiden Filmen und dafür, dass auch er einen Teil dazu beitrug, dass Animationsfilme nicht mehr wegzudenken sind. R.I.P.Fazit:Diese Trilogie ist ein Prachtstück. Um auch kurz auf die Blu-ray-Qualität einzugehen: Großartig! Von der Bild- und Soundqualität, über die Menüs, bis hin zu den vielen Extras war alles mehr als zufriedenstellend. Ich kann Teil 3 leider nicht mit der 3D-Version vergleichen, doch es war auch so ein tolles Erlebnis. Diese 3 Filme können ohne Einwände, als Meilensteine in der Geschichte der Animationsfilme gelten. Besonders Teil 3 hat mich überzeugt. Ich bin über 20 und dieser Kinderfilm hat in mir Gefühle geweckt, wie es schon lange kein Film mehr geschafft hat. Vor allem wenn Buzz rebootet wird und plötzlich seine spanische Ausgabe aktiv ist, kann man sich auch als Erwachsener das grinsen nicht verkneifen. Die Kaufempfehlung gilt bis zur Unendlichkeit...und noch viel weiter!
