This is the only thing I have found that will protect the top of the cabinet or drawer where the trash cans are stored. The top of my cabinet needed repainting every few months. This prevents that kind of wear. It is a tight fit between the cabinet top and the bottom of the drawer on top of it. I have to make sure the top drawer is closed before I can close the trash cabinet. Other than that small inconvenience it works well.

I bought this to protect the top edge of the cabinet that holds my rollout garbage container. It takes more wear then the other cabinets and I could see the varnish and stain wearing away. It was easy to cut to fit with a scissors. The cabinet handle was partially in the way but with a few marks from a sharpie I was able to notch it out pretty nice. The only draw back is that on the inside the guard is slightly lipped. That probably keeps drips from running down the back but also catches every time I change the trash bag so I have to pop the guard back into place. No big deal and I am so great full to have found this. It is only slightly visible on my dark cabinets and sure gives me peace of mind.

I purchased this for our cabinet door to the garage can. It gets so much more traffic than the others. It was a little difficult to cut with scissors but I finally got the correct size and it looks great.

These guards really minimize the wear and tear on my kitchen drawers - especially on the drawer holding my garbage bin. Price could be a little better but they really work on preventing damage on heavily used drawers and cabinets.

Overall, I was disappointed. Product did not fit snugly on my cabinet door.. Falls off a lot.

Love the idea of these, but if you have inset cabinetry they may not fit. That was the case with mine. The other thing to be aware of is that although the material is clear, it has a distinct blue gray tint. They may look better on stained or certainly any kind of gray or blue cabinets rather than white. I wish they were thinner and had no tint as I really can't find anything else like it on the market.

Fits perfect over the cabinet. Stays in place.

I was excited to see this product because our trash draw looked bad with chips of paint missing on that upper edge. I sanded the edge down and put a few coats of paint on it. Unfortunately, the edge guard didn't work as indicated because the handle, on our cabinet, is to high to install it as shown in the picture. So, I took the handle off; I cut holes in the edge guard for the handle screws; I turned the edge guard around and installed it that way! It's working great and looks great!
