I have purchased several bags by Kenneth Cole Reaction and have found them to always be of fantastic quality, and each has a well-thought-out design for a particular type of use. However, I am writing this review more geared towards the quality of the company rather than being aimed at this specific product (though I like this particular bag and have traveled around the world with it over the last 4 years). When there is ever an issue with a bag, I have always found the company to be responsive in taking care of the problem. Recently, I received a replacement bag for this case that I purchased in 2013 because they deemed the issue to be related to a defect -- free of charge! A second time, Kenneth Cole Reaction replaced a new bag that had small damage marks on the leather. I plan on being a super loyal customer and will never hesitate to buy bags for my own use or gifts. The designs are always good and they stand behind their products. Only a minor issue that I wanted to bring up with this particular model. The bag I got in 2013 had a little secret compartment on the side that was secured with their signature heavy-duty zipper. Not sure what it was for, but I found it VERY useful for my migraine cure, which I place in little vials. Whenever I started to get sick on the plane, I just reached for the compartment, and popped the pills. This compartment is now gone in this model. Now I have to rummage through a larger compartment that contains other items -- not fun when being buffeted around is a turbulent sky on the verge of a a debilitating migraine attack. I’ve been searching and searching for a bag that checks all of my boxes, and with this bag from Kenneth Cole, I have finally found it. It’s perfect! I need a bag that is not too heavy, not too floppy and I am not a fan of flaps in the front. This one is just right! The leather is really high quality and I’ve been using it for more than one week and there have been no marks, no scuffs, no discoloration whatsoever! I originally was drawn to the tan color but this dark brown was going to ship faster so I went with it and I am very happy I did. It is gorgeous. I really like the brass colored zippers and they work perfectly as well. Looks so good and the bag looks very professional. It has lots of pockets but still has enough room for what I bring with me daily (such as my iPad Pro and headphone case). It even has a place for expanding if needed. It is a little bulky, but not bad as others I have tried. I find it the perfect size. The fact that it was on sale was an added bonus. I’ve figured out that to get the quality I want I need to be willing to pay.a little more, but this bag was worth every penny. I can’t recommend it highly enough .

I use this bag when I'm flying and attending business meetings - looks more professional than my go-to backpack and I was able to consolidate necessary purse items (wallet, gum, medicine, chapstick, phone, sunglasses, etc.) and all of my technology (15" 2018 MacBook Pro, 10" iPad with keyboard, chargers, battery pack, cables, etc.) so I only had one carry on bag...made travel really easy and all of that fit without utilizing the expansion available. Probably holds too much (even while not extended) as when packed it was heavier than I would've liked, but that was my fault. Although it still fit, the cellphone pocket was a little snug for my iPhone 7 Plus that is in a pretty hefty case...what can I say, I have butter fingers. Love the shoulder strap that extends for crossbody, which is nice when carrying it for any distance. (Also adds additional security as you can keep the bag in front of you - less prone to pick-pockets, which is the main reason I don't travel with my backpack, especially in crowded airports.) All strap hardware is very sturdy and well-made. Strap also has a sliding, slightly padded attachment for comfort that works well. This bag fits under the seat on airplanes, has lots of organization options, has luggage strap on back to securely attach it to a suitcase that has a handle, and the leather is really top grade...soft but sturdy. As a side note, the laptop area was nice and snug for my 2018 15" MacBook Pro - may be a challenge for thicker laptops. Also, the set-up in the front pocket area was different than what is shown in the listing pictures. Mine has only two pockets and two pen slots...no credit card/ID slots at all. Improvements to this would be adding a sturdy place for a good size (24-32 oz) water bottle, and if it were available in a slightly more feminine version. Don't need or want ribbons and bows, but a less masculine look (not a fan of the contrast stitching) and an outside pocket that expands more for items typically carried in a purse would be awesome. I looked at a lot of laptop/portfolio bags made for women and they didn't meet my needs or have the overall quality/features of this bag. Hope this info helps!

The leather bag is very nice and supple. It is roomy inside and has several compartments and pockets. I was looking for a soft leather briefcase to carry various books, folders and supplies. The spaciousness of the bag allows comfortably for a laptop to fit. The bag appears to be made of good quality and durability. It is a little bulky (in width) because of the cushioning, but otherwise I love this bag. There are a lot of zippers, because of the many compartments, and I haven't noticed any distracting noise from the zippers.

La calidad es muy buena, por fuera y por dentro, el color viste bien más cuando usas traje diario. Nada más para que sepan qué llevo en este producto. Batería recargable grande, pluma, bocina pequeña, case para cables, audífonos grandes y un reprocutor DAC, lector de DVD, laptop, termo de café, tablet y carpeta de piel. Very nice bag so far, with many pockets.

I am very happy with this bag - bought many over the years and this one is top quality. Looks fantastic, looks expensive and has so much room for my laptop, iPad and Galaxy S7+ tablet and kindle. Plenty of room for all the other necessaries needed when traveling - passport wallet, phone, multi usb charger plus, a cable organiser etc. I should mention that the bag is quite heavy before putting stuff into it. Great for travel if you are in business class where you have plenty of baggage allowance - but might not be so good for economy where baggage weight is at a premium. Also not sure I would want to put this bag on the floor underneath seats - its really too good for that in my opinion.
