I love this company. I have one from Crazy creek that is over 15 years old and wanted to purchase a second one. I was pleased to find that the company still makes the same quality product as it did years ago. It high quality fabric, comfortable even for someone like me who has back issues and lightweight. My husband who is 200lbs as well as my 5 year old can both fit in it. A nice feature is that the sides have Velcro to keep it closed and so can be used as a bag as well. We use them for the beach, movie nights and camping and we put our blankets or other things we need to carry inside. Don’t be fooled by lower quality imitations. Crazy creek quality is worth the extra money. Makes bringing a chair for the ground or for extra support at sporting events a breeze.

I completely disagree with the reviews in one important aspect: this chair is TINY. It is sized for a tiny person, not a normal-sized person. I am 5-10, 190 pounds and the chair is way too small for me. My wife is 5-2, 130 pounds and it is way too small for her. Quality is good, and it would be fine for a small child. I just left UPS to return this to the third-party seller that Amazon sold this through. $106 to ship it back — more than it cost me. So it goes into the garbage. $100 down the drain. Huge thumbs down.

Wish I had had this for those conventions when u are fighting for a place to sit, often on a concrete floor.My first chair like this - seems well-made, and clever. Personally I could use more bottom padding AND being a plus size - I can use the chair, but kind of overflowing through the straps. The chair is holding up tho LOL. IMO they need to supersize for bigger hips and bottoms, but that's not the fault of the original chair.Still, having some back support sitting on the ground is a big plus, and it's lightweight. Will be good for the beach too.

I haven’t used it for camping yet, but I HAVE used it on my bed to read. My pillows don’t give enough back support. This contraption gives wonderful back support, and I love how I can adjust the angle. And it’s so light - it’ll be no problem carrying it with my art stuff on a trail so I can lean back comfortably.

This chair comes in one long piece. It does not fold in half. I have a chair like this one and it has a one piece outer shell, but the foam is in two pieces and folds into itself very easily. Ad says it fold into a square. That maybe true but it would take some adjustment to fold in half. I had planned to walk into stadium with this chair. It would be very difficult to walk into a bleacher with the chair in chair position. If one was able to fold in half, it would be difficult to get back into seating position once at the bleacher. It would be annoying for everyone around you.now I wil have to return and pay for postage. Very annoying.

It definitely supports your back while you sit on the grass or floor.however.....Caveats:(1) The "support" part of it comes from the nylon straps at each END of the seat/backrest. So in order for the phsyics of it to work, you have to SLOUCH a bit to make sure you are spreading your weight over the strap on the ground so that it holds your back. If you sit up straight, you may not be putting enough weight to hold it up.(2) the seat/backrest are rather RIGID, and don't fold well. it's difficult to non-chalantly carry this thing around with you till you need it. It's rather cumbersome to even merely fold in half as it would seem natural to want to do (like a purse). But no, it's stiff there as well, and you can forget about rolling it longitudinally.

My daughter has to have a crazy creek for camp. We lost our original and bought a Coleman last year- it broke within 3 days- no comparison at all. Went back to crazy creek. Best chair.

I have wanted a crazy creek for 10 years and for some reason I never bought one. I’m so glad that I did. This is very lightweight and comfortable. It’s so comfortable that sometimes I just sit in it in my apartment! Perfect for an afternoon at the beach or the park. Highly recommend.
