I bought this fan after visiting my in laws. My mother in law had bought one for me during our visit, since I run pretty hot. It was great for getting ready in the bathroom. I loved how small it was I bought one for my home. I have it next to my side of the bed and use it when I’m feeling really hot at night. The high setting isn’t too loud and it cools me off pretty quick. I’ll usually place it on the low setting if I want it on all night, especially after to get a little cold. Great little fan for a small and close space.

After sailing for 47 years, I miss the nights of sleeping on the hook with the wind coming through the main hatch and the sound and motion of waves going by our sailboat. When home I always had a fan going next to the bed. But there was always a problem with the motor noise. Well, this fan solved that problem and more! 1, It's quiet with just the sound of a small breeze. 2. It's small as the tower uses very little room on the night table. 3. There's two speeds and the low one is plenty. 4. The breeze is narrow and direct. 5. There's an optional swivel switch. This unit combined with my ocean noise machine is a perfect match. Now I just have to figure out how to get the bed rocking!

I did not receive a remote, not sure if it came with one. I use it in a cubicle setting, level one is perfect. Can’t even hear it. Level two you can hear but it’s not too bad. Does not take up a lot of space on the desktop, sits and works perfect tucked in the corner. Oscillates quite wide for such a compact fan. I use it daily and it seems to be well made. No issues after a couple -three months use. I’m happy with it.

The fan is quiet and works well to cool my room especially as I’m working from home and sitting at my desk all day. I bought the fan in February and it worked perfectly for about 6 months then it stopped working. I contacted Amazon and my opportunity for a replacement through Amazon had passed, but I contacted the manufacturer and they promptly replied and replaced the fan. From the time I emailed in to the manufacturer to the time I received the fan was about only 4 days.Thanks Forty4! They also helped me troubleshoot the issue with my old fan, which seems like it could be a fuse issue. I’ll replace and update my review.

This is great little fan. Very quiet, good air flow, compact and easy to operate. Don’t expect the air flow of a much larger fan but it’s adequate for smaller spaces. I use it in my bedroom which is decent sized and it does a nice job.

ProsThe fan is acceptably quiet in low mode. In high mode it's OK, but is loud (not bad - just is loud).ConsWhen in use from the very beginning, if I put it in oscillating mode it clicks, about once-twice a second. Sounds like cheap plastic gears catching inside.Luckily, I don't need or want oscillation. But this would be a deal breaker if I did.

Perhaps I need to wait to see how long it lasts, but then winter's coming so it may be a LONG while before using it regularly. That said, I'll say that my first thoughts are that it's a perfect compact size for a nearby desk or bedside table. At low it's hardly audible. High, no more than I would expect from any fan. Probably would serve as soothing white noise if it's for sleeping. It replaces a history of small 8-10 inch round fans that all could get pretty loud. It certainly has the power to do the job. Another house member liked enough to buy one too.

Had a small tower fan that I loved and after several years it broke. I checked out many different fans on Amazon and read many reviews. I am so happy with this fan. Has a low and high speed when still and when oscillating. The low speed is quiet and not too cold and intense. The high speed is loud but do not prefer that intense cool air. I wish the knob on top to operate was designed differently. My own preference but definitely not a deal breaker just would make it easier to hold and turn.
