DeBoles Organic Pasta, Angel Hair, 8 Ounce (Pack of 12)

I have always loved th DeBoles angel hair pasta. But this last order was definitely not angel hair although all 12 packages were labeled angel hair. It is as thick as regular spaghetti. The taste is the same but I do not like the thickness of the pasta. So disappointing and now there are 11 more boxes to use! I called DeBoles and the person I spoke with made it sound as though there was a change in the product. I did let them know they should not have changed what had been a great angel hair. Very sorry to hear this. I was hoping there had been an error in the packaging process!.

I purchased 12 packages of DeBoles "Angel Hair" Spaghetti. It has been a long time favorite of mine, but it doesn't seem to be available in the stores any longer. I have used 4 boxes so far and each one of them didn't contain the angel hair variety, but they were standard spaghetti. There wasn't any strong reason to return them, but I was disappointed that I didn't get what I ordered. Also didn't exactly know how to contact seller. This is my 2nd time ordering this. I believe they got it right the first time.BN

First, I love Debole’s Jerusalem Artichoke pasta in any form. I do prefer angel hair over spaghetti, however, and my last order was definitely not angel hair. The box says “Angel Hair” but the product is definitely spaghetti! I am not returning it, because it tastes the same; it’s just way too thick for my preference. But I would like to know how this happened. I guess someone at Debole’s screwed up!

This pasta was recommended to me by my trainer. Pasta is something that I enjoy eating. Now that I have changed my eating habits this pasta has taken the place of regular pasta. No one could tell the difference, not even the kids! Anyone looking for a pasta alternative, try this! It's great tasting.

This is excellent pasta! We eat this at least once per week. It cooks perfectly every time, never becomes mushy even if you forget and cook it too long. The Angel Hair cooks fast! The taste is fresh and delicious even with just a bit of olive oil and salt. Our favorite is to toss it with alfredo sauce and top it with salmon. Also excellent with some sauteed vegies and melted cheese. Tastes just as good the next day reheated. We love this organic pasta, it is a pantry staple for our family!

I love this pasta however when I opened the sealed case of 12 the top box was totally empty of it's pasta. The second box was opened but pasta still inside. DeBoles must have a thief or a lazy packer. They need to check this out.

This product has changed and I will be looking for a different product. Or make my own sprouted wheat noodles. On the outside of the product it now says "May contain SOY". This is one of the reasons I buy this product because it does not contain soy. It also has less calories, which for my son we need calories and protein which that also went down a gram. Now on to the product inside. Totally different. It went from the old which was thin, smooth, with grain flakes to the new which is thicker, course and no grain flakes. Which means more processing. When cooked it is the size of regular spaghetti and not the fine angel hair texture, but as if it was regular store bought. To bad yet another product has degraded to be cheaper.
