This is the first purchase I have made of a lighted reading magnifier, so I do not have a comparison to others. However, I really love this one from Magnipros so far. It came packaged well, including a protective film of the lens. It came with the charging cord, a cleaning cloth, and an explanation about the design of the lens. It also came with an option to get an extended warranty if registered within 10 days.It is very light weight, which I appreciate as I have fibromyalgia and weakness in my hands. The lighting options are great, I work midnights in home health and work in low lighting situations, so the options allow me to use the level that is easier on my eyes.The focus seems pretty good to me and very customizable by changing the distance from the page you hold it.It came charged already so I can't say just yet how long it takes to charge or how long it last as I haven't used it very long yet.Overall, though light, I feel it is sturdy and of good quality and easy to use. I appreciate the thoughtfulness of the company in providing the explanation about the lens, it comes with clear instructions and I love that it is an American company, not cheap Chinese junk.

I love how lightweight the MagniPros lighted magnifying glass is. It is rechargeable and comes with a USB cable. This is a great product.

This is the first magnifier like this that I have ever used. The magnifier helps to read small print, but it wasn’t as clear or bright as I hoped for. The different light settings is nice, I found one that works best for me. The magnification is good, but just seems off a little bit. The magnifier works and it does help, but it could be better, that’s why I gave it 4 stars.I would probably buy it again because I know it’s ok, but I might roll the dice and try a different one and hope it’s better? If you want to be safe, this one works.

This has made a big difference in seeing fine print and light grey print - works as advertised and like the fact it does not take batteries and is rechargeable.

I purchased this less than a year ago so after using it for 10 months, I am on here looking for other options.It does a decent job for reading recipes and those pesky little fractions, but for reading books, the batteries begin to fade after about 30 min. or so. I do have it on the brightest setting for the entire time. Charging time does seem to take quite a while.The thing that has me looking for other product options is the lens used is grooved on the reverse side. It is very difficult to clean. My granddaughter grabbed it a few days ago and of course, she grabber it by the lens so there are sticky fingerprints on it. Because of the grooves, it is not an easy wipe to get it clean.Also, the grooved lens makes the edges of the pages 'curve' down. It is not quality over the entire width of the page. It is distorted at the edges and it makes it necessary to move the lens across the page as you read.It is useable for smaller tasks, but not ideal for serious reading.

This is just what I needed!! I had been having trouble reading books the older I get and this has worked perfectly for me. I like that it fits comfortably around my neck which leaves my hands free to hold my book. I like the 3 different light settings and that it is rechargeable. I like the quality of this product and would highly recommend it!
