Really nice cross. It is nicer than I expected, especially for the price. Yes, it’s thin wood and the image is paper. But, applying paper icons to wood items (crosses, eggs, etc.) is a traditional Russian process and in this case it’s very well done.

Very, very nice. I am very pleased with this lovely cross and it looks beautiful hanging on the wall next to photos of my Russian ancestors. A tiny gold nail with a small head was used to attach it to the wall which allows it to be removed easily if one wants to look at the back of the cross.

I love the design and the iconography on this cross. The only down side is that the images are actually stickers pasted onto the wood. That said, I still really like this piece and am happy with the purchase. :)
