Saved me from buying a new receiver!
Simple, easy, inexpensive way to upgrade and older quality receiver to talk to Bluetooth devices. I used this for an older. Harman Kardon AVR 510 that still puts out great sound, and now I can stream Pandora or anything else right from my phone.Only complaint is the switch could be labeled better for tx/rx, but that's it. For a few bucks I just got a number of years out of my nice quality HK sound system.

Unable to Pair with ANYTHING
Firstly, mine received lacks any labeling that is shown in the pics -- specifically, for the Transmit or Receive Switch. Secondly, I was unable to connect this device using the Digital Audio to any of two Bose headphones or a Jaybird Freedom Sprint even though I was able to connect all three of those to iPhone. Not sure what the issue is but this was a waste of money for me.

Not Bad, But...
Not a bad product. There was excessive static during lulls in the action or dialog of whatever I was watching at the time. Not ideal! I moved the device several times to ensure there wasn't any interference from other electronics. For music, however, the product seemed to work fine. It was very straightforward and easy to pair with the several devices I linked it to.

Do not buy this device
I bought in April, never worked, does not work optical input and analog input works a few minutes and then stops working. It is only good for the trash because you can not return

Update: A/B test Alcatel Pixie using Aptx with this TR525 optical connection to Pioneer VSX-D912 vs Halide Design DAC.
Using this as a transmitter from my LG PW800 projector (which is amazing) to my Griffin Twenty bluetooth amp. Also as a receiver between my Alcatel Pixie tablet to my giant killer Pioneer VSX-D912. Just a thought on the sound quality using the freakin awesome optical output on this TR525. Pairs quick. Remembers the pairing. Did an A/B test against my Halide Design DAC and although the strings were warmer and the bass was more melodic I couldn't tell much difference between the two. I played in a band for 10 years and go to concerts regularly. My $600 Halide vs Alcatel Pixie (free from t-mobile promotion) along with the Nationite TR525 with Fospower optical cable was not much difference. I'm blown away. Arcam rblink was my next stop for $250 bucks. I just saved $200 and can't be happier.1/1/2016 update: Nationite support vanishes.1. Transmit stopped working.2. Receive stopped working.3. [email protected] undeliverable4. [email protected] undeliverable5. [email protected] mysteriously accepts emails but does not respond.6. No phone contact.I'm stuck with no recourse. Was a great product for 2 months. Only thing great now is the great scam Nationite pulled on me. Are you next?Www.sandiegofirsttimebuyersecrets.com
