My son loves this! It's very comfortable on the inside, so it isn't scratchy, and the head pillow is very helpful when he turns over. The quality of this jacket is great. My son is 3.5 years old, he's approximately 38" tall, and 30 lb, and the 30-50 lb jacket is perfect! It comes with a crotch strap. He swims in our pool with it independently. He will get two years out of this jacket.

I bought this for my grandson, age 2 to replace his smaller one. They go rafting on the Yellowstone river often and I wanted one that had this flotation head rest. It is very well made and not so bulky that he complains about wearing it.

My son had the infant version of this jacket and we loved it. Very sturdy and it made us feel very safe goin out on the boat with him. He has finally outgrown it so we are sizing up! This jacket is just as good as the infant one.

other than it life saving function in water, this also saved my son from a fall on a concrete floor.. he was running around the pool wearing this vest, then he slipped falling on his back, his head hit the floor with the collar portion of this vest acting as the helmet on the back of his head.. no damage at all.. had it not for this vest it could have been a VERY different outcome...

I was never able to even use this. It is far, far too small for my son who just turned 3 years old and 37 pounds. He was 3 months short of his 3rd birthday when we took this camping with us. The waist is adjustable but the chest are is not. I couldn't even get thus on even partially and my son is very average in size. I ordered a "Child" size which should fit between 30 and 50 pounds. I can barely even buckle it and I didn't even realize it until the return period had passed. HUGE waist of $50+.... If I could give a lower rating, I would.

Fits my 4 yo perfectly! She has always hated wearing a life jacket due to them being bulky, riding up, making her too hot, not being able to move well/bend over, etc, etc! This is the first jacket she has enjoyed wearing! Thank you!!!

I though I already posted the review, maybe I did not: I like the product and my kid (3.7y.o) likes wearing it when on a lake for ~5-6 hours while sailing. The vest acts as designed for PFD II (once my kid on the back it supports the head and is quite stable (not easy to turn face down). As with all PFD II there is a risk that for some it will not automatically turn them face up, so we trained our kid to go face up when in the vest in the water. And the head support makes great difference.

Somehow this thins is comfortable enough for my 2-year-old to WANT to put it on when we go kayaking. Great purchase.
