Great fit and sizes are perfect

They're pricey, but worth it. The big thing here is that they are very comfortable. The material is durable, but lite and it breathes well. They look so nice you can wear them with a suit coat and people might think they're slacks... kind of. Or I wouldn't have any problem using these for work jeans either. There's lots of bending room in the thighs. But listen, ORDER BIG at the waist. I've had experience with this brand and knew to do that so the fit I got is just right at the waist. The bigger the size you need, the more you need to order up. I'm a man of girth, so I ordered 4 in. up from my normal size at the waist. Regular sized guys would be wise to look at the next size up from normal. However the inseam is a different story. These are sized long. I have short legs and a long torso, and I ordered my usual inseam. It is quite a bit too long. I think I could have done with a full 2 inches shorter. But I cuff 'em up, and they look cool that way. Just letting you know. Overall, I like these jeans quite a bit and will definitely consider ordering another pair some time. And it is so nice to see this brand quality in a big man's size. Good jeans.

I had read reviews that said these pants seemed to run large. So I had actually expected them to be loose as I wear a 40 waist in every other brand I've owned. These pants as a size 40 seemed more like a size 38 in every other brand I own. That said the pants do seem like they would be very nice if they fit. I like them enough that I plan to order a larger size and hold on to these for when I lose a bit of weight.

Both my husband and son wear Carhartt jeans and both say they are by far the best jeans out there. There was a time you wouldn't find anything but Levi or Wrangle in their closet but now days, the go to is Carhartt. The Wrangler and Levis jeans have been designated as "grubby jeans for greasy dirty work and discarded as they wore out for good. Levi and Wrangler seem to have gone to a lighter weight denim, lowered quality control and they don't last as long or wash up as well as the Carhartt jeans. The seams are sturdy and lay flat without an iron pressing, they hold a crease crisply without being pressed in. The zippers are sewn in well and don't break, the teeth don't pop loose. The fit is spot on, every time. I have purchased several pairs of these jeans for both guys over the last few years. The pairs I bought just a few weeks ago have the same fit of the ones I purchased years ago, the sizing is consistent and that is a plus for anyone who shops on line and doesn't want the hassle of "hopping they are the same this time". (Levis has been horrid about this quality control issue over the last few years!) Both guys like the "washed fade" color and frankly, it is hard to tell which are the newer pairs once in the closet since they don't fade with washing and they don't look "brand new" when purchased. I hope Carhartt sticks with the denim and great quality they are using now!

I first bought these jeans a few years ago and wear them primarily for motorcycle riding. I've rode with these jeans on an almost daily basis through heat, cold, and rain. They've maintained their color and appearance. The relaxed fit gives me just enough room in the seat and thighs for a comfortable ride. The ultimate test came a few months ago when I crashed my bike. An unfortunate accident I laid my bike down on its left side injuring my left leg. My leg took quite a beating but I was shocked that my jeans did not show a single tear. I later washed them and I continue to wear them. I simply wash them in cold water and after drying I see no trace of fabric in the lint trap so they still feel like their original weight. Casually, they look great with a dress shirt or polo. I'm 6'2, 245lbs, and athletic build I found the waist runs a bit small and I ordered one size up and they do not shrink after washings. The leg opening is large enough to slide over boots.

I bought Carhartt jeans for me and my son at the same time. I like the fact that Carhartt has a very broad selection of both styles and sizes to choose from. I am at the weird end of the spectrum body type wise, and am very skinny, but long legged. A 30" waist but a 34" inseam...yeah, I am all leg! My son is better proportioned and has a 32" waist and 30" inseam. Finding jeans that fit me is difficult. But, thankfully, Carhartt has pants that fit me. I really enjoy the jeans I got, except for the fact that they only have 5 belt loops instead of the 7 I am used to. My son's relaxed fit jeans are great. He wears them frequently. He is into body building and needs a jean that does't fit too tightly to his thighs (which are understandably quite large now). So these relaxed fit jeans fill the bill nicely. He doesn't feel pinched or bound up in them and finds them to be all-day comfortable. Construction is rugged and quality is excellent. They fit well and wash/dry well. These are really high quality jeans and worth the price. Oh, and the price was very NICE.

My husband is 6 feet 6 inches tall and slim. He only likes tapered legs in his jeans and other pants as straight lets look like he is floating in them. These jeans fit exactly as described. I have bought this exact pair a few times and they wear very well. I am happy to answer any questions you may have.

Don't buy. Read mine and othe reviews. Fails at back pocket within 10 wears. A waste of money.

I bought this in Japan, have always been a size 36/30 in these jeans. These were way too small so had to return at my cost, so cost me half of the price of these jeans to return, so very disappointed.

Terrific build quality, real heavy duty jeans. However, the legs were enormously wide and akin to windsocks attached to the seat so no use for me. If you have extra large thighs and want a jean that's built to last then these are for you.
