The light output of these shoebox LED lights is extremely good. We recently remodeled my hotel and replaced all of the old Halide lights. I have installed roughly 23 of these lights without any issues around my property and it looks like daylight at night. We were able to hook up the lights to a photocell and they automatically turn on when it is dark or extremely cloudy out. They are built very strongly and fair well in the Texas heat. We still have more to install. I have purchased 13 of these over the last few years and now four are no longer working and I am having a difficult time contacting customer support so I can get a replacement since these are all still all within the five year warranty.

We’ve had a dark corner of the farm for years — right between the equipment shed and the back of the barn — and it’s always been a bit of a pain (and a safety hazard) to work there after sundown. Decided to try this Hylele light after hearing good things, and honestly, it’s been a total game-changer. The light it puts out is seriously impressive. It floods the entire area with bright, clean light, not that dull yellow glow you get from old fixtures. It makes it way easier to see what you’re doing, whether you're loading up a trailer, checking on animals, or just walking through. Even on foggy or rainy nights, visibility is way better. Build-wise, it’s clearly made for commercial or industrial use. The housing is solid metal — not some cheap plastic — and it feels like it could take a beating. The design includes a big heat sink on the back, which helps keep the unit cool even after being on for hours. That’s something we appreciate on the farm where things are always running hard. Installation wasn’t plug-and-play, though. It’s a big, heavy fixture, so you’ll want at least two people, maybe three, especially if you're mounting it up high. Once it's bolted in, though, it's rock solid and doesn’t budge, even in strong winds. It’s also handled all kinds of weather like a champ — cold mornings, heavy rain, no issues. Definitely built to withstand the elements. If you’re looking for serious lighting for a farm, yard, or large outdoor area, this one’s a solid investment. It’s made evening chores a whole lot easier and safer, and I’m already thinking about picking up a second one for the other side of the barn.

Well, hubby order this thinking it was meant for over our garage to be surprised at delivery when it was a LOT bigger and heavier than he thought. lol. We're trying to see how we can still use it as he intended but it will definately take some tweaking. It's definitely well made and very solid. Currently costing $363.99
