The pros for this is its well made and surviving a 2000+ mile trip without any issues or even knowing it was there . The cons are that some of the hardware bolts stripped very easily but was easily remedied by a quick stop at our local hardware store for a few grade 8 nuts and bolts . I also used some extra straps for the overkill that I normally use. We went through rain and heavy at times with zero things getting wet . It fit well on our 2022 dodge Durango r/t without any problems also allows our lift gate to operate while it was attached and loaded. Great value for the money. I did not get paid or offered anything for my review.

This appears to be a heavy duty PREMIUM product. Assembly instructions were very lacking, but I was very surprised to see real open ended (#14 & 17) wrenches included for the assembly. However, # 16 & 18 wrenches were also needed to complete the assembly, and we’re not included. I was able to complete the assembly in 25-30 minutes. I expect to get many years of service from this product. The rubber/plastic container for the carrier also appears to be high quality and should protect any item we might wish to place in the container. I might add that I ordered the item before I saw the 200 pound shipping weight on the product description. I almost cancelled the order, because I knew I’d be unable to install the carrier on my suv, by myself. The actual weight was about 50-60 pounds; why did they put 200 pounds on the product description??

We haven't used this on a long trip, but it was pretty easy to assemble and install. I attached it to the hitch by myself. The carrier and the bag are bigger than what I thought, so that's a good thing. We haven't used the bag yet, but it feels like rubber, and seems like it'll protect what we put in it. We drove a few miles with the carrier folded up and down, and it seems to work fine. We're happy with it.

This is a very nice sturdy unit. it started some surface rust at the welds the first time it got wet. I would recommend two lite cotes of Rustoleum black gloss grill paint. Came out really nice and protected, this paint is very durable and perfect for many jobs. Your better off assembling with an adjustable wrench for the nuts, they are unidentifiable neither SAE or Metric. Overall; worth the $, it did come with the cargo tote bag, net, and ratchet straps for $101.

Everything is here as it should be. Hardware was scattered threw out the box everything is counted for. Would recommend, oh and the bag needs to air outside. Thing stanks really bad. Gave me a headache.

Didn’t even last 2 years. It just bent hauling way less than 500 lbs as advertised. I hope I can make it home with it before it goes in the trash…

Great value for the price

I ordered this well in advance of our family trips this year and didn’t bother inspecting it until well after the return window. Unfortunately, the piece connecting the carrier to the vehicle hitch was damaged. Contacted the seller and to my surprise they responded immediately and worked to rectify the situation over Memorial Day weekend. They didn’t have an extra of the part I needed so they just shipped me a whole new carrier! Very impressed with the customer service. As for the product it is very sturdy, easy to assemble and again backed by excellent customer service.
