Finish on hooks is already flaking after 2 days
I received this two days ago and have used it twice already. It works well and is somewhat simple to use. The hooks can be a little challenging to fit in, but it’s not too bad.The reason I am only giving 2 stars is that the finish on the hooks started flaking writing minutes of the first use. Since they could easily come into contact with food, that’s a major issue. They are clearly not stainless steel. The tube itself also seems to be pretty discolored already, but we’ll see if it’s durable. Will update the review as needed.

It works, don't know about the basting brush though
Got the device packed it with pellets, lit it (using heat gun), let is stay lit for about a minute then blew out the flame.It provided smoke for several hours and gave my bbq the smokey taste I was looking for.There was just a little ash after it finished burning and I didn't need the cleaning brush to clean it out.The basting brush is small and I am struggling to find and occasion on when I would use it.I am happy with the purchase.

DEFINATELY a must have!
My husband loves using this in his treager . It really adds a nice smokey flavor to meats,chick and fish even pizza comes out tasty. If you like smokey flavor that you can't get alone with pellets this is a great addition. . Delicious. It's a must have in our household. Excellent price value .

Surprisingly great!
The media could not be loaded. I was very pleasantly surprised by how well this worked! I made turkey legs for Thanksgiving and this gave them the perfect amount of smokey flavor with very little effort.

Does not put out enough smoke to be effective
Bought this item and expected it to give off enough smoke yo provide a smoke flavor to my steaks as they were cooking. Boy was I surprised. I have tried it two or three times and it did not give me what I was expecting. Now I'm stuck with a bag of hickory pellets.

Hard to keep lit
Unless there's a special pellet your supposed to use with this unit. It is the hardest thing to keep Kingsford smoker pellets lit.

Great Gift
My fiancé has now smoked cheddar and fresh mozzarella cheeses using this cold smoker and they have tasted great! It is perfect for any Traeger.

Easy-to-use, excellent taste
This is a great way to get smoked flavor. Used in my electric smoker in place of the wood chips. It will smoke steadily for hours, eliminating the need to add wood chips every 20 min. Also cold smoked some burgers in my gras grill for an hour before cooking. Good stuff!!
