Great weapon light!
This Elzetta flashlight is a mini-beast. The light output is a slight bit better (IMO - no measuring tool, just my eyeballs), than the Inforce WML. I have mounted both, but there is just no comparing the two in any other way.The Elzetta Alpha is pure face-breaking quality. I have SureFire M600s and a few other weapon-mounted lights, but none of are built to the same rugged standard as the Elzetta. When you pick it up, you will understand how and why you can rely on this light to always function. I feel like this thing could survive a mortar strike. I may not, but I'd be thrilled to know my flashlight did...There are lighter options available (no pun intended), but if you're concerned about a couple of ounces you could just take a couple of bro-tein shakes and maybe do some yard work to increase your manliness by +5.

The Rolls Royce of Tactical and Pocket Flashlights
The only reason I gave this light a five star rating is because there is no six star selection. It's that good. Elzetta is the Rolls Royce of pocket tactical flashlights. Its built like a tank and you can easily run it over, blow it up or do whatever because it is so strong (and also a bit heavy) You could easily run this thing over with a truck and it would keep on working (really!)When you buy an Elzetta you go on their website and basically build your flashlight off of one of their base bodies. Its a good way to do it because you have a lot of choices, but you need to know a little bit about what you want. The one I built is simple, it has push for momentary on and push further for constant on. For me this is best. I also got the "tactical" bezel. Not because I plan to fight zombies with it (you actually could), but because I have put lit flashlights face down on flat surfaces and then forgot they were on. With the tactical bezel light spills out the sides and reminds you to turn them off. This is my go to flashlight that I keep in the nightstand. Its not too powerful but strong enough to investigate bumps in the night and chase raccoons out of the garbage. You can get them with all sorts of low light and strobe features, etc, but I've had that stuff on other lights and its mostly confusing when you try to use the light under any stress at all. (like dogs fighting with raccoons). You end up getting strobe when you want momentary beam, etc.If you like good stuff this is the light you want. The only drawback is that it is heavy. It is also strong and works perfectly.
