Purchased this product after reading several positive reviews. Item arrived in it's own packing and it didn't have any damages. Installation was simple as long as you have the proper existing connections in your car. My 2004 Civic had existing cable where I simply spliced (soldered) for a solid connection. Mounting the unit to the existing Honda stereo head unit brackets were ok, I only had to do a minor adjustment (filing) of the upper screw holes on the factory bracket. User experience on the panel is simple, the sound is ok (no additional amps in my setup, only 4 speakers), BT operation synced without any issues and the sound quality was good. I haven't tested any video functions when connected with my iPhone/Android device. Installing the rear back up camera was simple as well, It had enough cable (RCA) to run the length of a 2004 Honda Civic Coupe. Image on the camera was sufficient even in the dark, I used the supplied double stick tape (may have to use supplied screws on your installation). The only thing I observed to be an issue is the display image, depending on your vehicle type, the image on the display is affected by the angle of the head unit from driver or passenger side, you will have to adjust the display brightness to make it more visible (this is only with my installation and vehicle type). The brightness presets (day/night) will have to be manually changed to make the display more visible. Other than that, I am satisfied with this this purchase for the price, great item!!!

Just installed this radio on my son's 2001 Civic. It was easy to install, used the Metra wire harness for the Civic(here in Amazon) and the Metra faceplate for the radio face(also in Amazon). The radio boots up fast, and bluetooth connects fast. I checked the software and the version is from Aug 2019, so seems it's recent.Some quirks:1) You have to be in the audio screen to listen to music2) the sound setup only has trebble and bass(no mid range adjustment)3) While adjusting audio trebble/bass - you cannot listen to music so you don't know the optimum setting in real time4) MIcrophone sound pickup on a phone call could be better(this may depend on the car type and ambient soundOverall, for the price a good upgrade for an 19 year old car. Radio reception is clear, interface respons quite fast to the touch. You can dim the display which is nice.

Total crap.- Randomly shuts off while driving.- doesn’t save my contacts every time I start my truck I have to sync it which takes about 2 minutes.- doesn’t go by standard measurements it doesn’t fit the dash area correctly- backup camera doesn’t automatically engage when you put it in reverse- very basic interface- limited setting optionsIf you’re on a budget it works, but spend $100 and get a Ive or pioneer one save yourself the headache

Radeo worked fine it is a 7in. Screen so be ready to make alterations to the installation kit. The reverse camera was easy to install and has a great picture. Bluetooth hooked up to my iPhone fine and I was able to make receive phone calls with no problem. Have not tried mirroring yet but I’m sure it will work ok. The only problem is the radio only comes with limited operating instructions so it traces a while to learn all the functions. I’m glad I bought this radio it makes car look & sound great

If your planning to install the backup camera, make sure to use a 18-24 gauge connector for the video relay power wire. The red wire from the video relay needs to receive a "positive" signal from the reverse light power wire. Either connect the red video wire to the reverse light positive wire, or connect it to the red camera wire if your powering the camera to the reverse light power wire. The black wire of the camera goes to ground.

I took my car to nearest radio installer in the area and they are charging me 300$ to installed so I drove off and went home and took me 1 hour and 30 mins. myself to installed it included the back up camera. Very nice quality for the price

Mirror link doesn't work but everything else works great...

The instal was quick and easy and after 3 week s now the unit works well
