Wooster 912-0086170000 Brush 8617 Speed Bucket, 1/2 Gallon, No Size, White

I have been using the smaller Wooster paint pails and liners for years and love them. Decided to try this paint bucket for the medium sized rollers. It works great. It is made of sturdy material and doesn't flex when filled like some of the cheaper paint trays. It cleans up easily and is easy to cover with some self-stick food wrap between painting sessions. The brush holder works great, too, and keeps the brush handy when working on a ladder.

These buckets are great. The magnetic brush holder is a plus. Dried Paint peels out easily

This bucket holds a ton of paint, is perfect for a 4" roller, and cleans up super easy. My only issue with it is that the magnet barely holds a 2.5" brush. If you bump anything, the brush will drop into the paint or roller. I pulled the magnet out and it's plenty strong, it just won't hold through the plastic. I'm thinking about epoxying (or otherwise attaching) a few magnets inside the bucket...there are times when having two different sized brushes handy is nice.

EZ to use, works off floor or on ladder, nice build quality, sheds old paint well, holds plenty of paint. I paint with a 6 in roller so it’s perfect but an 8 inch roller will NOT work as it will not fit in the bucket.

Used this with a 3/4" nap roller to stain rough sawn cedar. The roller area and the long nap didn't do well together. Roller usually slid rather than rolled. The magnet while a nice idea wasn't big enough. Paint brush fell in numerous times, and could only hold one brush at a time. Also, nothing to get this to hook into a ladder or stay put. The material on the bucket is good, and it made for easy cleanup, but I wouldn't buy this again. I can epoxy some (better) magnets to any plastic bucket...

I use this all the time. Makes life much easier up on a ladder with my paint can hanger. Good addition to my painting gear. I put a small garbage bag inside then pour in the paint. Keeps clean up simple!

I bought this bucket several months ago and just yesterday used it for the first time. I started using 6 " rollers several years ago and now use them exclusively. They are so much easier than the 9" rollers to handle. I always ended up stepping in the tray or dropping it off the ladder and spilling paint all over. This bucket is the answer to all my problems. I can carry it easily as I go along. I can hold onto it when I am on my ladder. It holds a lot of paint so I am not always refilling it. I wish I had this years ago. The magnet on the bucket is great for holding a brush out of the way. It is perfect for smaller rollers.

Great idea and works well for a 4" roller. However, the brush holding magnet is not strong enough to actually hold a brush. My brush continuously falls right into the paint covering it all the way up past the ferrule and half way up the handle making a huge mess which does the opposite of what's advertised. It's great as a roller bucked but I will be investing in a different bucket for cutting. Put a stronger magnet in and it would get 5 stars.

Works as expected.
