What a truly brilliant idea
I wish I thought of it. I own quite a few Makita tools. Therefore I also own quite a few Makita batteries. I usually have at least four of them fully charged. With this simple little accessory, I now have plenty of emergency power for our cell phones, tablets, laptops, etc. Just slide it on to one of your batteries and plug in your gear to one of the two USB ports. Brilliant!For $12? No brainer.Highly recommendThanks for reading

ease to use
The casing is easy to modify for other purposes. Star shape screws were used and embedded in a rather deep hole. It will be nice if it is a Philip screw, or the hole is not as deep; which will make it easier to modify.

got this since I have so many makita batteries. If the power is out- can run my tablet, phone, laptop for days.

Using to charge phone in jobsite

Made me uncomfortable to use.
worked OK with two devices but did not work other devices. I do not know why. One case I experienced was charging my older iPhone. After hours, iPhone indicated the same charging level before plugged in. Soon after unplugged, iPhone showed fully charged. Then started to use only find the screen turned black. I plugged again, empty battery was shown on the screen, then screen requested to plug in even though it is plugged in with this device. What does it mean? Charging power is not strong enough? After repeated three times, gave up and charged with normal way. This time it charged. This experience showed this charging device is no good. I no longer comfortable to use. It may either destroy one of the devices or damage the battery. Another return item!
