Crazy as it sounds, this really works! My daughter used it on the first day of our beach trip, and not a single jellyfish bothered her — and they were really bad this summer. The second day, she got a little overconfident and didn’t reapply, and she got stung three times. Her friend did apply it and didn’t get stung at all. Pro tip: make sure it’s fully dry before swimming!

Swam in area with jellyfish. Got out of the water & felt a slight bit of an itchy area on leg, but it literally went away in about 5 minutes! This stuff puts a barrier on your skin & it really seems to work!!! Was able to enjoy swimming without being afraid of getting stung 🪼 It may also depend on the area you are in & the type of jellyfish, (we were in Maryland in August). Worked well for us!!!

Giving this four stars because I have no reason not to. I’ve bought this twice now and used it at beaches on the east coast of Florida. I can’t really say for certain if it’s effective or not but I can say that I’ve never been stung while wearing it (could be because it works or because there were no jellyfish around). I was wearing it when one of my friends got stung standing pretty close to me and I was totally fine. Regardless of whether it works or not, it gives me peace of mind and that’s worth it to me. Lost a star because it’s so hard to put on. It’s very thick and doesn’t spread easily so it takes forever to get decent coverage

Really seems to work. We are having our typical jellyfish “infestation” and my son was in the water for over 3 hours without a sting.

There were definitely small jellyfish (sea lice) in the water. I usually feel the slight stings but after using this and waiting for ten to fifteen minutes before getting in the water I felt nothing. My husband was swimming right beside me and got a few even through his rash guard. The one time I didn’t wait before jumping in I felt a few at first then nothing. When we ate usually in the water 90 minutes to a couple of hours and it provided protection for the entire time.

It's vinegar lotion, essentially. So by applying it to yourself, it's a pre-coating of vinegar on your skin in order to mitigate pain if you contact a jellyfish. I didn't bother opening so I can't comment on the smell. If it were strong, i'd rather not walka round smelling like that. But I'd rather not have a second thing to apply to my skin on top of sunscreen or under it and instead would just carry a spray bottle of vinegar so I returned this. Three stars for neutrality.

So far 2 summers with no jelly fish stings

I did the ultimate test and took one for the team. I put this on 10 min before paddleboarding. We live on the Eastern shore and the sea nettles in the rivers are abundant! I scooped up 3 jellyfish on my legs of different sizes and let them hang. Initially I felt a very slight sting nothing too bad, afterwards, a little bit itchy and very mild sting for a shorf period. Nothing significant, and definitely tolerable. I will definitely be buying more to protect my kids!

Product doesn't work for Australian stingers, husband used it in a swim at Busselton, he got the worst stings he's ever had and had to come out of the water after about 200 metres.

Have used this for years and have not got burnt or stung by a jelly fish

I bought this as a preventative measure but haven’t actually used it. I just try to avoid going in if there are lots of jellies around.

This stuff is amazing! Purchased it for a Mediterranean holiday…2 years ago the resort was over run by jellyfish and we were stung several times. So cue this purchase! It’s remained resolutely in the hotel room unopened and there’s not a single jelly fish in the resort!!! Must be super strong!!!! 🤣

We bought two bottles thinking one was for kids and the other, bought on buy again, was for adults. Kids one is actually 50+ but the other is 0 SPF! You can guess what happened on our snorkeling trip off the coast of Costa Rica. Yep. Totally lobstered and got stung by something just for good measure. 🦞🦞🪼🪼
