I am a gardener who has tended to go into a slump in winter since I must wait for Spring. But this book gave me lots of inspiration and ideas to try. The author especially encourages the reader to try new uses for old things to re-purpose as pots. Also suggests ways to extend the season so as to have mid-winter or early spring surprises to look forward to. The book is beautifully illustrated and a pleasure to read.

This is a delightful gardening project book -- I bought 3 copies to be given as gifts. The 2 copies I've given so far have delighted the recipients.

I thought it would be good for small garden projects ,but I wasn't really inspired to do more than one or two.
