As you might be able to tell from our other reviews, we are big fans of the Diaper Genie. It's one of the few "must-have" gadgets that is, in our eyes, a "must-have" for a baby's nursery. Do I wish these refills were less expensive? Absolutely. But do they work? Absolutely. I've read the online tutorials on how to make other bags work with the Diaper Genie, but we've never found anything that works as good as the ones made for it. And considering that the Genie really does reduce diaper smells, and really is easy to use, we're willing to spend the extra $ to use the bags designed for it. By the way, you can almost always get these through Subscribe and Save/Amazon Mom, and that makes them a little less pricey. We also learned, the hard way, that you never want to run out of these. (Good news is, they stack nicely, so they're easy to store.) In particularly rough times, we've gone through a refill a week, but usually, we can stretch it out a little longer than that. For us, it's worth the cost to get the refills designed for the Genie. It's not the most fun baby purchase we make every month, but it's one of the most appreciated and useful--second to diapers!

You probably love your Genie as most everyone does, well as much as you can you can love anything to do with diapers anyway. The Disper Genie just keeps the smells contained and quickly gets rid of the gross diaper and seals it off from the room. You know that if your looking for refills I’m sure, The factory refills are the best being thicker and stronger than generic big box refills. While over the last four years and two babies I have tried others I always worry if they are gonna make it to the trash can outside without bursting, I have no fears of the originals. The ring the generics come in is the exact same size but has 20% more length?, they do that by making the bags thinner and this is the kind of product where more is better if that is the trade off. So we buy the originals and buy them on Amazon subscribe and save to bring the price down and never have to worry about running out or making an extra trip to a store we would rather avoid and I can love that

At first, I thought the idea of the Diaper Genie was a waste of money. The more and more I use it, the more I realize its convenience. We have it sitting right next to our changing table, makes it really easy to just toss it right in the Genie and not have to worry about the smell or making an extra trip out the dumpster. It does a good job of sealing off the smell with the filter and clamp. Is this something I could live without? Of course, but if you have the extra money I would say it is worth the buy. The refills are really easy to install and throw away. If you are unsure on how it works, it's pretty simple. After unsealing the refill cylinder, you pull the bag out a little bit and place the refill cylinder into its slot. You will then pull the bag out all the way down to the bottom of the Genie. Then, you want to tie the bag off at the bottom to stop any diapers from falling out. Once that is done you are set! Once the bag is full, you just cut the bag at the top, tie it, and then throw it away. Again, just repeat the previous step and pull a new bag down and tie. You just keep pulling bags down until the cylinder runs out! It can be a little confusing at first, but once you figure it out it is as good as pie! Lastly, I do want to caution those with newborns. The bags will fill up quickly, but will eventually slow down the less they dirty a diaper. I can't say how long three refills will last because I haven't ran out yet. I will update again once I run out. I would have given this five stars, but it is something that is not a necessity or life changing. It is just a quality product that adds a luxury to your life if you have the extra money.

Yeahs: We have two babes in diapers in our family, and if you have kids, then you know that equals a whole lot of diapers every single day. I don't know what we would do without our trusty diaper genie. In fact, we have so many dirty nappies that we can fill up a section of the refill in a day. So, for us, it only makes sense to get the 3 pack of Genie refills to save money. (I would buy a five pack if I could) I just love this product. The blue bag on the inside is so durable. You never have to worry about a leak out or the bag breaking. It also completely locks in odor. Our large garbage cans are in a hard to reach spot and sometimes I leave the refill bag in the garage until I have a chance to throw it away, and I never small the diapers. What can I say, our family has used the Diaper Genie for all four of kiddos and we are true fans. Nay: Really the only nay is that these refills aren't cheap, but if you buy them in a three pack you save money and the convenience is worth the price tag for us. Tips: We have a two story house, so we have a Genie upstairs and one downstairs. It saves a trip and keeps things tidy. After the one time cost of the second Diaper Genie, your're not really using any more of the refill than you would with one Genie. Also, if you use subscribe and save you can automatically get these every few months and they're even cheaper!

A mí esposa y a mi nos encanta este producto que a pesar de ser caro, es rendidor, cada paquete nos rinde al rededor de un mes si no es que un poco más. Nos gusta el producto porque no desprende ningún olor a pesar de tener el contenedor dentro de la recamara de nuestra bebé. Muy recomendable!!

I actually prefer these original brand name version. The no name ones are cheaper but they're actually cheaper in quality as well. These are nice and thick and have never broken on me, which if that's ever happened to you, it sucks. I live in a condo so having the bag break on the way to the compost sucks. These aren't that much more expensive relative to the cheapo ones so rather than riskin the need to clean all sorts of things off the carpet, best to get get these real ones.

These Playtex Diaper Genie Refills are super overpriced, in my opinion. It's just one large garbage bag, but hey, they worked. I always seemed to use too much bag, though. It's like trying to ration a fancy trash bag for royal diapers. Diaper duty is already a challenge, and these refills just add a bit of financial flair to the mix. If only I could figure out how to stretch them without feeling like I'm wrapping a mummy!
