Don't want to seem overly pedantic. But in the image description of this anchor plate, the connect ring is welded to the plate with thick welds. In reality, though, this is not the case, Selkirk now uses rivets. I'm not sure what makes for a stronger bond, but I suspect the weld would have been better. Nonetheless, heavy duty product and I'll prepare to mount my chimney to the wood fired oven. Thanks.

The headling says it all. This anchor successfully holds my chimney pipe to the chimney. Nothing has fallen off or blown away. However, its corners stick out of the Selkirk storm collar. Turns out you cannot fit a 6" circle around a 6" square. Who would've known (besides any 8th grade math teacher).

I don't know if I used this thing right but it did the job. I used it as an appliance adapter for a wood stove and it worked well.
