These drapes are simply stunning! They look rich and sumptuous and luxurious and exactly like real velvet should look. I am thrilled with the dramatic look they have created in my living room and I am so grateful to the Amazon reviewer who recommended them here. Thanks to her photos, I knew that these drapes in the “Light Beige” color would be perfect for my room. I bought them “Like New,” so I got an even better deal on them, and they do look just like brand new drapes, so I couldn’t be happier. I am calling this review “WORTH EVERY PENNY,” since that was the title of the review that inspired me to buy these gorgeous drapes in the “Light Beige” color in the first place! Again, they are simply stunning and just what I was looking for. They are a perfect match as well for the curtains that I have on the side windows in my room, which is a huge relief to me and makes this purchase all the more satisfying! Thank you, Amazon, and thank you, Half Price Drapes! Again, I am just thrilled with my purchase!

I used them to make a headboard. Much cheaper than buying fabric by the yard.

These are the genuine article--heavy with a lovely drape, fully lined, twill tape to reinforce the header, weighted on the corners. These are high quality and nicer than any I've seen at the big name stores. And the price is flat-out amazing. Anyone who has bought or shopped for real velvet drapes will recognize the difference right out of the box. These compare with those available in the $150-$200/panel range, *not* the unlined, much lower quality variety available online in the $20-50 for-two panels range.The first picture shows the construction details of the header. The second and third show the color, Au Lait Creme, in a room covering a north-facing window. (The lighter areas between the panels are crushed voile sheers in ivory.) The windows are backlit during the day and the picture is pretty accurate for color. In the evenings, the room is lit only by lamps (no ceiling light) and the color is about the same. I had a pretty good idea these would read dark given the lighting (or lack of lighting) so I chose based on undertone using the comparison photo of the whites/off whites/and cream colors posted by another reviewer (thank you!). My first color choice was the dark blue but I was concerned it would read black during the day which wouldn't have worked at all.I've bought 'velvet' curtains online before but never, ever any like these. Maybe one of my all-time best ever finds on Amazon or anywhere else for that matter. Ten stars!

Initially, I planned to use these curtains in my son's room. The "city grey" color is very light, but has a slight tint of purple in it and not what I wanted to use in his room. I was ready to return them but missed my return window. Fast forward a couple months and I was redecorating our guest room. I had issues with the curtains I intended to use, then remembered I had these still on hand. I hung them thinking it might just be temporary, but turns out I actually love them now! So, imagine my disappointment when I realized one curtain is 108" (after hanging it) when I'd ordered two of the 96" curtains. I'm seriously bummed because I'm not a seamstress and I don't want to pay to have someone hem them for me. I've included photos to show the length and the mis-marked packaging.For what it's worth - these curtains really are beautiful! They're REALLY heavy and include a weight at each corner to keep them hanging properly. I suggest you plan to use all the support brackets that come with your curtain rod. My son easily tore down the curtains once (they weren't in a stud and I didn't use the extra bracket). I also purchased the pale pink version for my daughter's room and they are exactly what I was hoping for! I get tons of compliments and am in love each time I walk into her room. They just make it feel so cozy!

Gorgeous! They look and feel luxurious! Super soft. Color is beautiful. Definitely worth the price tag for panel. They are not black out but darkening which is perfect for living room. They are on the heavy side. I purchased them in color Au lait creme. It is perfect neutral color. Light ivory and more on a warmer side which is exactly i was looking for. I was worried the velvet material would be the kind that lint stick to easily but no. They are very silky.

The green definitely is more blue than I wanted, but I knew that from previous reviews when I purchased them. They are super soft, the perfect length, and they look very beautiful in my master bedroom. They work well as blackout curtains and on sale they were a great value. Definitely recommend if you’re sure about your color choice.

Make sure you read the entire description carefully. You will be receiving only one panel. I would not have purchased this item if I had realized that this was the case, as I would never spend nearly $60 on a single panel. For proper fullness with these you’d need at least 4. No way am I going to spend our grocery budget on 4 curtains. Lovely color, nice material.

These curtains are seriously worth the money! They feel and look so luxurious. I was very picky about the color that I wanted for my bedroom and landed on the Denmark Blue. I’m always nervous about buying certain things online and had looked everywhere in stores for something I loved. I was hesitant and wasn’t sure how they would look in person. However, these curtains are amazing. I wasn’t looking for anything “black out”, just something for privacy. These are a nice thick material and very light filtering. The material is heavy, so make sure you don’t use anything besides a toggle when hanging these, especially if you are using as many as I did. Check out my photos to truly see their beauty! For those nightshifts looking for complete “blackout” keep looking. BUT if that doesn’t matter to you, these curtains are worth every penny!

We ordered three of the same colour, and one of them was clearly different from the others (see picture).Trying to return this from the UK is proving difficult, as we have to arrange return shipment and pay the cost ourselves. Tried calling customer service, but to no help. Really disappointing as this is a clear product fault, and it's causing us unnecessary extra work.

I really like these curtains. The color is WOW, pictures don't do it justice. They are heavy and hang perfectly. Block out ALL light, really happy about that. I found the price quite steep for one panel only (90$ for the 52 inch...) I was going to return the one panel, but then I saw Amazon warehouse had a second panel for 35$ because they said it was damaged. I bought it, and glad I did because it wasn't damaged at all. So all in all with that discount, these are reasonable curtains. But if money isn't an issue, buy these!!! They look very high quality and make a luxurious room feel.

Made two purchases with Half Price Drapes- this first order I purchased two panels in 'ivory'. After having them in my home I decided I required a lighter colour. I was happy with the quality of the drapes. I made a second order for four panels in 'vanilla'. When the drapes arrived, one panel arrived in an intact/undamaged box, however the plastic packaging the panel was in was significantly damaged. There is an ENORMOUS stain over a large portion of the panel. Furthermore, the second set of panels is the EXACT same colour as my original order despite being different colours in the preview images. I am returning the damaged/incorrect colour drapes. They are nice quality, however beware that you may not receive what you think you're getting because the preview pictures are misleading.

Au Lait CremeNice quality, they are matt finish, good weight to them.I hope this helps to see the true color of them.I'm returning them only due to the color was to light for me, and try for a darker shade.

Beautiful curtains! I bought a pair of Aztec Gold panels and just hung them. They are silky soft and keep the cold out! They aren't totally blackout but give a nice dull/warm glow when drawn in the daylight. I'm super-happy.
