I've been a trim carpenter for 40 years. And have always wanted something to help measure long pcs of trim with 2 angles. This does the trick. Extremely accurate. Love it so much I bought 3. If you are a pro, get this, it works.

I like every thing about it, it's a perfect design especially for long short point cuts, don't know how I did without it

Yes there are tips and tricks and pretty simple math you can use to correctly measure miter cuts without calling someone over to hold you on the short point aka, hold the dumb end of the tape. This tool however will free you from all those burdens of thinking too much or doubting whether that helper is holding you dead on while you try to precisely mark your cut. No more how many inches do I need to subtract from my long point before I get the speed square out and scribe a line and say a prayer. Was a little doubtful about the plastic construction and despite that this tool has held up well in my finish bag for quite a while. Heavy duty spring has held up well and assures you won’t be yelling GD IT and throwing your pencil at the floor… again . Easy to clip on your 45 and pull tape from short point without thinking or doubting yourself or others. Love this tool at work. Gives me more time to think about what we’re having for lunch and who’s buying today
