Top Cover Mode Dial Plate Interface Cap Replacement for Canon EOS5DIII 5D3 5D Mark III Camera Repair Parts

Unfortunately, these days Canon doesn’t want to work on cameras that are 10 years old (but still have lots of life left) so when my mark three button fell off, I was trying to shoot from memory of where manual and aperture priority were, which is incredibly hard. Then it occurred to me. I bet I can fix this myself! And I did! Thanks inexpensive button replacement!

This replacement looks just like the original. Use some glue affix it. The stick that comes with it isn’t very strong.

I was happy enough when I put this product on my canon 5d mk3 which was missing its original dial cover. But then a few days later, this sticker fell off in my backpack, didn’t stand a chance at staying on permanently. I might try to superglue it or something.

I'd provide a picture but alas, like others, it fell off. Very annoying. I'll buy from another company and use glue this time.

I’ve purchased this twice, thinking the first time it was a “me” issue but after buying again, putting a lot of pressure on the sticker to ensure it stays on and sure enough, right when i looked down at the start of my portrait session, it’s gone. If you purchase this, maybe a dab of hot glue would be better than the sticker they send.

It fell off within 2 weeks of putting it on. It came with an extra sticky part so I used that but it did not last either. Disappointing.

I would not recommend this product. The 3M tape does not peel off easily and the paper sticks to it. Neither of the 2 replacements worked, and was very disappointed.

This is a perfect replacement for my 5dmiii, but one and only issue is that it was very difficult to get one of the papers off of the sticky portion so that I could put it together. It comes with the dial itself, with a sticky piece already on the underside of it, and an extra paper with another sticky piece. I put the extra sticky piece directly on my camera where I was going to place the dial, but I had a tough time getting the paper off. After a solid 5 minutes of using my nails, I was able to get it off and then easily remove the paper from the dial piece and put them together. Great quality, great look, so happy that it’s affordable as well!

Was easy install - comes with double sided tape ring , once i knew what mode camera was in , i simply lined up the appropriate letter/Symbol and pressed in to place
