I've been using these in the garden and they've done a great job protecting my arms from the harsh sun. They fit well, just need to make sure the tops are straight and not rolled at all, or they'll continue to roll and down as you wear them...like panty hose I guess. What I noticed about them and why I came back to write a review is that they keep my arms cool.. Any time a breeze hits them or I sway my arms emphatically, especially in the hot sun, they actually get cool, like noticeably cool.. I've washed them twice without issue. They're pretty inexpensive and I would buy them again easily. I purchased them in white. *update* Just came back from a backpacking trip where I was sun exposed all day long for 5 days.. these worked great.. at the end of the trip my arms were tanner, but they weren't burned and I easily would have been, otherwise. I traded off between 2 pairs.

Living in HOT Arizona, my husband needed something to protect his arms from the sun. He is on the golf course 4 days a week and with the sun beating down for hours, he finds the sleeves really helps with UV sun protection. They block the sun with a UPF 50+ rating that blocks over 98% of harmful UVA & UVB rays. The arm sleeves are made with a sweat-wicking fabric that'll keep you cool. They are light-weight and breathable keeping him cool. We ordered 6 pair. It was also a good price. One size fits most with a stretchy nylon-spandex fabric stretches to over 4 times its length. They are machine washable, however I hand wash and hag to dry. They have held up nicely with no snags. He keeps an extra pair in his gold bag.

Wore these hiking in 105 degree weather, they look good, feel good(no itchy tag or seam), kept me cool and kept me protected from the sun really well. They’re thin, and fit great on my arms (180lbs 5’11”)

I got these for when I'm on the shooting range and don't want to wear a long sleeve shirt in the heat. They worked great and even had a cooling aspect like they say. Protected me from the sun. Did find out that they snag very easily on any Velcro and will start to fray quickly if that happens. But still great and perfect for the price.

One of the sleeves arrived “pre-torn”.It is a comfortable, lightweight, and breathable sleeve that offers coverage and sun protection but does not fare well when it comes into contact with any rough surface. The material and the wrist seams easily catch on objects and become very frayed but still manage to stay put together without tearing and is fairly puncture resistant unless in contact with a decently sharp object. I would recommend this for activities in open areas where it will not brush up against anything. Overall you’ll pay slightly too much for this not so versatile item.

I bike a ton, and with the hot summer weather, I hate wearing clothing that covers up my skin. However, with all the hours I spend outside biking, I need to cover up from the sun. These sleeves are great. I can tell they protect my skin from the UV rays, because my skin does not get too hot while out in the sun. Yet, these are very lightweight and thin material, so I'm not suffocating in them. Since they're so lightweight and thin and stretchy, they're very easy to slide on my arms. They do stay up pretty well for a few hours while I'm biking. I have never had an issue with them falling down my arms, no matter how far up I pull them. Sometimes I do have to pull them up just a bit in the beginning, but once I'm biking they stay put. The blue sleeves are my favorite, because they just look nice I think and really pop. The blue sleeves also make me stand out a little bit better while biking, so no one hits me. I just wear a t-shirt , and the sleeves fit nicely underneath, making it look like I'm wearing another layer under my t-shirt, but I'm not, and there's no added bulk!

Being older and taking blood thinners I need some protection from casual bumps that cause ugly bruises on my arms and I need to cover bruises up. These fit very well, stayed up, and didn't shrink. They were all (white, gray and black) cooling in the sun, of course white was the coolest, but black did not get hot either. I rotate use depending on what color shirt I'm wearing or what the occasion is (Black with my tux, white to weddings, grey to my mother's house and so on). Seriously, I bought these in May of 2023 and they are still serviceable. White has a couple of small holes from carpentry tools,some are stained oil, paint or spaghetti sauce or pilled. But today 8/1/24 I'm going to order another set of three. I am happy with these and would recommend. P.S. they aren't made for picking from blueberry bushes and probably won't protect you from knife or bullet wounds.

GREAT Price, comfortable, exactly as described, cool easy to wash, BUT I would say NOT for BIG Fore Armed people would buy again.
