Can't give 4.5 stars, so 5 will have to do. This film seems to last (years, so far). I have it for my license plate, and I live in the desert. It's still holding up. It doesn't draw down on the battery too much if left on. Which brings us to one of the first issues. It's normally opaque (thick/ translucence) without power. It becomes clear (ish) once power is applied. I'm sure I can think of uses where this is optimal, but for what I use it for, I'd prefer it be normally clear. Hopefully, this company will continue to develop this film. I'll be ordering more for the patio sun window. If they can get the unpowered state to be clear, and make the clear state actually clear, I'd buy a ton just for windows.
