Another Great Book by the Master of Foldable Models
As usual John Montroll's books are always fantastic. My favorite thing about his books? Every model in his collections areactually foldable with ordinary papers and by ordinary folders. No 3 weeks of pre-creasing, no need for expensive hand made papers. His Models are very well presented and fairly easy to follow for any experienced origami folder. Yes there are many new technical folders with ultra realistic models that take weeks to fold or simply cannon be folded, but folding one of John Montroll's modelsgives me the confidence to continue in this hobby.

John Montroll's books are the best. His designs are lovely
John Montroll's books are the best. His designs are lovely, and the directions are clear. Please note: this is a book for advanced folders, and most of the models require very thin paper like MC coated tissue or tissue foil.

I love origami, and these patterns are wonderful
I love origami, and these patterns are wonderful. I haven't had time to fold anything yet, but the patterns are intermediate and seem fun.

Not for beginners, not for average origamists. This is advanced and complex but doable .

Nice collection of paper insects.
I love the origami books of John Montroll. Over the years his diagramming style has got better and better. Bugs is another worthy volume of designs. Simpler then many designs of this subject material but still challenging and satisfying to fold. Not a book for beginners but certainly for the intermediate to advanced folder.Recommended.
