Excellent arborist tool! Light weight and durable. I’ve had one in use for 10plus years now. Great for trimming palms. Saw blades replace easily and recently when I broke a extension latch I was able to replace the part for $25 bucks and the 10year plus “work horse” was as good as new again.For the price, it’s the best I’ve found.

We have palm trees and this tool severs the fronds with ease, the hook trimmers at either end of the very sharp blade makes short work of the strands which tend to hang up the cut frond from coming down. Well worth the high price, guess you do indeed get what you pay for in tools.

Bought one of these poles three years ago to use as a professional arborist, and only now am searching for new sources for a replacement due to standard work abuse. The max reach, rigidity, and modular saw/pruner/hook options make this the superior telescoping pole for tree work. Bought the D-to-O adapter for it to allow for fast saw-to-pruner fast swapping; adapter can also allow for a wire raiser attachment. A great alternative to Silky.
