functional, but clumsy to use
These mitts are functional, in that they do allow you to reach into a pan of boiling water without burning yourself, but I am finding that I have to use tongs in order to grab something reliably, as I don't really have a sure grip on anything with these mitts alone. They might be better for grabbing a hunk of meat off of a barbecue.

Great product
I used the gloves for the first time tonight for Thanks Giving and I was happy with the product. Every year I have the same problem with how I am going to flip the 22 plus pound turkey to better cook the under side of the turkey after it has been in the oven over 4 hours. WOW this was the first year I was able to just grab the whole turkey from both ends pick it up and just flip the turkey. I felt no heat except when it got a little bit wet from the juices BUT barely felt it and my hands stayed dry. So far good product.

Great oven gloves
I just got these yesterday! They were packed well and easy enough to get into fast to use :) I used them with my toaster oven and outdoor grill and they worked wonderfully in both cases! Plus my whole hand is protected when wearing them and I really like that. No more burning the top or side of my hands as long as I'm wearing these! They are pretty large so should fit most hand sizes too. Lastly, the bright orange color means I'll never lose them - plus I like the color anyway :)

Buyers with large hands or long fingers may find these gloves impede dexterity unacceptably.
I ordered these silicone gloves to replace woven (Nomex?) temp resistant glove that I have used effectively @ woodstove for years.I have a large hands and find my ability to use my hand and thumb while wearing these gloves unacceptably restricted. If you have a smaller hand, they may allow you to use, grab and hold objects? I cannot. For me, I would be better served using a heat resistant glove or mitt that accommodates my hand size and allows usable hand function.Size is my only issue with these gloves. They appear sturdy and would certainly be hard to misplace. The manufacturer tip to dust inside with corn starch to facilitate donning is good advice. These gloves may or may not work for you depending on your hand size?

They are a little big for a woman my size which is average.
I loved that I could stick my hand right in the boiling bath water of my canner to get a jar out and didn't feel a thing! What I don't like about these, is one size does not fit all, it would be nice to have a smaller size for more dexterity.

Dangerous. May get burned.
Couldn't use as best came through. Nearly burned myself several times.

Unique Cooking Gloves
If you are wanting unique but very effective pot holders than these silicone cooking gloves are for you. I have been using them for a few months now mostly for cooking, but if you think outside the box you will have many more opportunities as well to use these great heat resistant gloves. Not only are they handy when grabbing hot dishes, pulling corn on the cob out of a pot of boiling water, or working with hot food on your grill, but they also clean up so quick and easy! They will definitely turn heads with the bright color and unusual fun look. They would make a great gift as well!

I like that they are flexible and easy to wear
They are everything the intro said they were. I like that they are flexible and easy to wear. No more burned hands or spilled contents because I had to use stiff hot pads to remove items from the microwave. I highly recommend these.
