Our cage liners are made of high quality fleece fabric on the top layer, soft and spongy wadding in between and waterproof layer at the bottom. However, the sewing process around the liner might allow small quantities of liquids through. I recommend placing something under the liner e.g. towel, newspaper. This product is suitable for C&C cages for guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, mice, rats, hedgehogs etc. Washing instructions: Washable at 30 degrees only. Do not tumble dry or use fabric conditioner/softener. Due to shrinkage after washes, our liners are made slightly larger on each side. Don't shrink but require regular washing
I had previously used Guinea dad liners which after a year of use damaged my washing machine due to being too absorbent and heavy when wet in the washing machine. They also smelled bad after a year.I switched to these ferplast liners and they suit mine and my Guinea pigs needs. The pocket is a must have for a Guinea pig where they spend a lot of their time and I think they feel safe there.I have three of these, one in use, one to wash and one to dry. They dry a lot quicker than Guinea dad liners and I can get rid of smells even though I use fragrance free detergent. Vinegar and sensitive anti bac dettol laundry also get added. Generally the pigs smell less with these liners but then I don't leave them longer than two days. I double up with an overall larger liner underneath and bed mats at the bottom to absorb pee. So the high traffic area (pocket) is where I focus on keeping fresh and the rest of the cage liners get left longer. The ferplast liners get whipped out and replaced every second day.It is right they feel damp after one day in the pocket area because that's where they spend most of their time.If your going to use cage liners, regular changing is a must due to smell build up and dampness.Guinea dad liners absolutely shrunk and it meant the base liner got soiled quickly as a result. The guinea dad ones no longer covered the bottom of the c&c cage. These ferplast ones have not shrunk and I don't think they will given there lighter material composition. I wash the liners in a 40degree wash.So overall I'm happier with these but require regular washing (2 days max use) in high traffic areas.

Perfect piggie product!
Bought a couple of these as i had to upgrade my cage due to my one of my new piggies popping about 4 surprise babies a month ago! Having two huge cages was costing way too much in bedding and after hours of research i decided to give fleece a try and i am now 100% converted! These products are wonderfully soft, easy to brush down, super absorbent and dry incredibly quickly when washed. I have 5 girls in one cage and two boys in the other. The girls can still go 72 hours without needing their liner changed regardless how messy they are!I'm going to be ordering a few more as soon as possible! 100% worth the expense! My piggies love it too! The second i put them back in their cage they flopped down and went to sleep! <3

On the small size. Doesn’t reach edge of my c&c cage
I use this as a back up product when my guineapig dad liners are in the wash. Ok stop gap. Smaller than stated and leaves gaps round my cage which my guinea pigs try to burrow under.

Good quality and no shrinkage
I love these cage liners. They are absorbent and do not shrink in the wash - 30 degree wash. I have previously used a much more expensive cage liner which shrank badly in the wash leaving it very short for my cage. I totally recommend these for comfort and they are very stylish too. Would definitely buy more.

Guinea pigs love these and easy to clean.
I’ve had these for a few months now and really like them. I change it 1-2 times a week depending on how much outdoor time the piggies have. It absorbs well, washes well and dries really quickly. Good sizing, nice design and the pigs LOVE the pocket!

This is the most unhygienic thing ever
Bought this as my guinea pigs absolutely love snuggling in our fleecy blanket but I’m gutted as it is absolutely disgusting. Had it in their cage for 24hrs and it smells already. The fleece seems to remain damp and hardly absorbs their wee at all just leaks out underneath, what I have just had to clear out was the worst I’ve seen since I’ve had them. Great idea but doesn’t do what you expect, so a complete waste of money.
