Pump arrived with marks on the back (that was open) and the cap for the cables port was loose in the box. No screws. I had to find screws (since the old pump was rusted as the titanic).I needed it fast and I could travel to a place or purchase directly from the brand (they have 2 weeks shipping...). This pump was USED, and shipped by A. so be carefully. If you still want to purchase, verify it the day that arrives and dont wait. I still can return it, but I really needed to finish the work and didnt want to get into the process and waste time. Its sad taht you can't leave feedback for A.

I had worries that this would be a poor match for the stock motor I'm replacing. Over the years the gameplaying with horsepower made it really hard to tell if I was going to have a replacement too powerful or not powerful enough (either would be terrible for a dual motor spa like mine).It turns out this was a slight upgrade in HP but not one of the really over-powered ones so it hit the sweet spot

This pump was described as having 2" output/input, but I needed 3" output/input. I ordered it and found the proper adapters to make it work. When I opened the pkg, it was 3 inches! It fit perfectly with my hot tub hoses. I will be returning all the adapters....

Impaler has frozen up a few times. Had to add some Vaseline and it seems to work better.

Everything about the purchase was good. Except the packaging. It was very minimal, considering how large and heavy this pump is, im surprised it wasn't damaged more than it was. Capacitor housing was dented in pretty good.
