New momma's key to a good night sleep
As a new mom I purchased the iSense Sleep pillow hoping to get some more productive sleep. Since syncing the pillow to my phone I've been able to track how much real sleep I've gotten, my tossing and turning, and how little I typically depend in a deep sleep each night (only 20%). It's my goal to improve all of those numbers, especially as my baby boy gets older and I'm able to relax more at night.I'm still familiarizing myself with some of the features but what I know is that this pillow is seriously comfy, stays cool and the perfect amount of cushion. I enjoy the waves noise, but haven't used any of the sound effects to sleep to yet.I have had a few sync issues with the pillow and my phone - not sure which one is at fault just yet.Overall, I'm a fan. And if you're on the fence about purchasing feel free to ask me a question!

Mediocre app, I find the very thick case detracts from memory foam comfort
ORINGINAL REVIEW: Saw the 5 star reviews, but had my suspicions given they were first or second time reviewers. I can't see how anyone could rate this a 5 star product given the required horrible Sleepace app (2.4 stars on Google play).I have not had a report for 3 days, and the app crashes every morning when I try to sync for report. The pillow is definitely synced to my pixel2 as I can see the heart rate and breathing rate when I am using it.The smart alarm, however, works well which was a primary reason I bought the pillow, and the only reason I am going through the trouble of getting this device to work. I emailed the company from the app a week ago and no response. As for comfort, I realize this is very individual. Being a stomach sleeper, I prefer thin memory foam pillows. This pillow has a 2 inch thick case (my measurement) which is very hot and synthetic, and hides the memory foam feeling of the pillow. I removed this thick case, as well as 2 Ziploc gallon bags worth of foam, and it is pretty good that way.I know smart sleep monitoring devices are in an early stage, so I will update this review if the app or support improves. If you don't mind wearing a device on the wrist, my wife has a withings watch (now owned by Nokia) that provides the same info, and has a smart vibrating alarm feature (this pillow has no vibrating alarm).UPDATE 4/2018:The app was updated and now tracks sleep well. I ended up putting the guts in my old memory foam pillow. The alarm has proven to be undependable and will occasionally not go off. I've looked at app permissions, and always leave it as the last app open on my phone, so I'm not sure why. I still feel I have to set a backup alarm with my phone if I really need to get up.

but after using this pillow for a few weeks I noticed I woke up with horrible neck pain
Maybe it's just me, but after using this pillow for a few weeks I noticed I woke up with horrible neck pain. I thought maybe it was just my body getting used to the new pillow..so I've continued to use it. I've gone to a chiropractor and a massage therapist and my neck is still in pain. It's got to be the pillow. I've stopped using it and sadly I'm beyond the return date...but, it's not as good as I had hoped. Hope it works better for others.

Most comfortable pillow we've owned!
This is definitely the most comfortable pillow we've every owned! My wife had been dealing with neck pains for months and we kept cycling through pillows with no improvement as most would go flat or lose their form within mere weeks. After trying out this ISense Sleep SMART pillow, we're hooked - no more complaints of neck pain and it's just as comfortable as the first day we bought it. The adjustable height option is great (and super easy) even though our personal preference was to leave it mostly as originally shipped for the full neck support. The only minor complaints relate to the SMART functionality, as the app could definitely be more intuitive and we occasionally have blocks of time without any sleep monitoring readings. It is interesting to see the sleep quality ratings, though, especially on nights when kids wake us up overnight!Personally, we'd buy this awesome pillow again for the comfort and the adjustable concept alone so the added SMART features are a nice bonus, even if there's room to improve them.

Poor presales and customer service. Comfortable ... but a risk with mobility challeges.
Honest pre-sales support representatives are needed. Shame on me ... I didn't read the fine print myself. I returned my mattress per the trial period and expected a full refund. Surprise ... only the cost of the mattress was refunded, not the adjustable frame. I asked before making the decision and was told I could get a FULL refund. Not so ... know this in advance.I returned the mattress and purchased a Sleep Number P5 that I had tried in a store, The iSense bed offered more features, at a better price, and if fully refundable ... how could I lose?Overall, the iSense mattress was far more comfortable, BUT ... I advertised that the sides are more firm than their competitors. As I have mobility challenges, this was a big feature for me. Turns out, it was my healthy wife who almost fell out getting too close to the side. Me, I figured it was "OK", others must be worse, and was just always careful. It was a safety risk too me, so we returned the mattress, ordered a sleep number ... and that's when I learned that i would be stuck with the iSense frame. In theory, I could use the iSense frame on the sleep number bed, but .... first, the mattresses would slide around on the iSense frame, It did not hold the mattress securely in place. Second, not all connections lined up right. If some of these things is important to you ... buy a mattress and frame you can try in advance, not one on the internetCustomer service and set up service are also greatly lacking in quality. In set up, the service iSense used had never set up an iSense bed before. They almost walked out having never even trying to install the air pump. In returning the mattress, after I sent everything back as required, I still had to call customer service to get the refund posted back to my credit card. NOTHING in their return process will happen unless you follow up on it. This bad has some good features, but they are not ready to be a full competitor to the "big boys" yet.
