The cushion is stiff and I probably should have been more careful about the dimensions. I considered returning it and thought I might use it under my legs to shift my position when traveling as a passenger long distances. I think I will make an "in person purchase" the next time I purchase a similar product.

This supporting roll is very firm, in which I needed. This is not the best option if you are looking for anything such as a pillow or soft support. I used this to assist in correcting my posture. I strapped it to chairs and used it on my lower back. This item worked great for me and would recommend this product to others in such need. Good material, seems to be built well, and came with a packet of information.

Used it in my car to add support to the seat. Strap was not long enough to use in the car, but I just positioned it before I drove and it stayed put fine and was comfortable. The foam seemed to break down and after 6 months I had to wrap a towel around it to "get it back" to its former glory. I am not a big guy but did use the roll 2 hours everyday for 6 months, and it will not hold its shape or support my back anymore. YMMV

While the roll seems very well made, it was way too thick for me and only made my back worse. It was also very hard and didn't give way much. May work well for others, but a total waste of money for me.

The lumbar roll is made of firm foam. The cover is a fabric that collects every bit of hair and dust in your house. I have a cat and I can't keep it clean. I have another roll that has a different cover that does not attract hair. I think it is an original McKenzie roll.

I went cheap, regret it. This junk flat to quickly. Dont buy. The material should be firmer to hold most of its round shape and not get all flatten

I've been using rolled up towels until now. Min kept rolling down so I tide a rope around each end and looped it over the headrest - problem solved!

Commuting on a van 4 hours a day caused me back pain. Found this little pillow and it's really helped. Love this thing. I take it everywhere.

I have a chevy cruze that I bought a year and a half ago. Ever since I have bought it I have had trouble adjusting to the seat as my back was damaged a bit in a car accident a few years ago. I was looking around for some kind of back cushion to make my back a bit more comfortable and came across this. I know obusforme is quite recognized for their ergonomic supports. The reviews mostly looked great so I decided to buy it.It arrived quickly and I unpacked it right away. When I saw the supporting roll it looked a bit too long for my car seat. On top of that the foam was quite rigid and didn't give at all. I still decided to try it out on my car. When I tried putting it on my car seat it would not stay in place as the edge of my car seat is raised and the log is too long to fit in the middle and the foam is quite rigid as well.I am a bit disappointed with this product hence the 3 stars. At the same time I am partially to blame as I did not do my full research on this product. If you plan on buying it just know that the foam is quite rigid and does not have too much give.

This product is very well constructed like all Obusforme products i have purchased in the past.Wanted a neck support for use on my recliner when relaxing in a reclined position to watch TV or read. This pillow is very stiff and there is no give when used this way. I am sure it works great in a car while driving or as a back support on a chair, but not for the use i purchased it for. No fault of the pillow itself.My wife and i found them too stiff and it caused neck pain in the brief minutes we originally used them.Would highly recommend for use in car or on a chair, but not as a support in a reclined position. I honestly though they would be somewhat pliable to mold a bit to your neck contour . . . this is definitely not the case.PROS: Well made. Very supportive (chair/car).CONS: Not moldable/pliable. Caused neck pain (in reclined position).RECOMMEND PRODUCT: YES. Just not for purpose i intended it for.

When I first received this item I was disappointed to find that the elastic strap is too short to go around the seat where I wanted to use it. But then I realized it fits perfectly around my waist, and then the roll is exactly in the right location in my lumbar curvature, I can change my position or go sit on a different chair and I still have lumbar support in the right place. So convenient! I'm really happy with it. Good firmness and the materials seem like good quality.

Because it's full-round, it's a bit floppy/sloppy when strapped to the back of a chair. But It does provide firm support, once in place.A couple of negatives...1) the labels are stitched into the fabric. I don't see a way to remove them without doing damage.2) there is a zipper at one end of the cushion, but I can't seem to undo it. In this summer heat, I sit shirtless in my chair. I'm going to have to organize some kind of washable wrapper for the cushion.

I wanted a back rest roll to use on a couple of outdoor chairs where the back material of the chair is fabric and dont support my back. This roll is perfect! It comes with a strap that you can close around the back of a chair. It is a firmer roll (not soft like a head pillow) so it definitely gives support to your back. I think it would be good for an airplane seat too as I always have to stuff something behind my back on those uncomfortable seats.
