Pretty good
This pasta is absolutely fine but I did not find it as enjoyable as Barilla wholewheat, which cooks in less time and I find has a slightly nicer texture and fuller flavour. There is a fair bit of white powder in the packet which I do not recall seeing with other brands. One to consider but I think you can do better.

Tasty
It does taste good but is it better than a cheap supermarket pasta? Decided to find out what my family thinks and do a little blind test. Cooked two kinds of penne side by side. The other one did cost less than a pound, can't remember exactly but think it was around 60p. I put them on two separate plates and did not tell them which is which. My wife said they taste the same to her. My daughter said the cheap one tastes better. I obviously knew which is which but liked this one better. It does remind me of homemade pasta - which I do once every couple of years. It looks better with more natural colour. It smells really good even when not cooked, the supermarket one did not have any smell to it at all. I do really like it and would start buying it if not for the price as it's a bit expensive. The price you pay for a quality product I suppose. Still, gave it 5 stars as the review is for a product and not the price.

Good restaurant's quality pasta!
Seggiano Organic Penne Rigate Pasta is an excellent quality Italian pasta that tastes amazing.Really, really tasty.I have cooked it al dente, and added one cup of the water from boiling the pasta to the tomato-based sauce and it created gorgeous home-made yet restaurant quality dish. My whole family was impressed and now asking not to use supermarket pasta as it taste nothing like Seggiano pasta.Yummy!Thank you for reading my honest and unbiased review, I hope you found it helpful! :)

You get what you pay for with pasta, and this hits the spot
Undoubtedly the best dried pasta I have purchased in the UK. Consistency is very nice, and cooked just right 'al dente' this has a lovely firmness to it that makes it superior to UK supermarket brands. The nearest I have found in the UK is Barilla, but this is most definitely better. The taste is subtle yet excellent. Highly recommended for special occasions and as a treat. Match this with the Seggiano pasta sauces and this is as close as you can get with 'ready made' to a decent Italian restaurant pasta.

Slow dried, bronze drawn
Wonderful pasta in a totally different class to the everyday kind. It has bite, an actual texture, and handles sauce way better. It takes a minute or two longer to cook. Great as a gift for foodies. The presentation is first class... minimal, thoughtful packaging with excellent info and detailing. Go for it.
