Great product
Get this for the daughter as it’s cost effective and it’s a great product. Having worked in Dermatology this works great and you out this on right before bedtime. Works wonders for her skin which makes her happy as well as this Mama!

Good retinoid; use with a moisturizer
This doesn’t pretend to moisturize. It’s a clear gel intended to be a vehicle for the retinoid, which one study found to be as effective as prescription Tretinoin (Retin-A). It’s marketed as an anti-acne treatment, but it works as an anti-aging treatment very well. All retinoids irritate sensitive skin, and this one, being prescription strength, will irritate more than most. If you have skin that’s at all sensitive, use once at bedtime and wait a few days to see how you react. Gradually increase frequency. My skin is cast iron, and I can tell that it struggles a little with this. For me, that’s very mild temporary burning; for others, it’ll be much more. I’ve had a considerably stronger reaction to adapalene than to products with retinol. I have oily skin and only recently learned that we need moisturizers, too. Even prior to that crucial discovery, I would have used a moisturizer after this. It will dry you up. At least some dermatologists recommend this over retinol for anti-aging, if you can tolerate it. It’s the same strength as Differin Gel, but considerably cheaper.

Most effective adapalene gel I've purchased!
Best generic adapalene gel I've used - I have purchased several adapalene products on Amazon, and this is the best one I've used. I purchased it during the time of year that I tend to break out most - in the summer - and I had ZERO breakouts the whole time I used this product.

Use sparingly and moisturize plenty!
I bought this product for occasional breakouts as a 40+ year old with combination skin. I currently have been using different Korean skincare products like Torriden and HaruHaru that have been super hydrating for my skin. It took this product about 3 days to undo weeks of hydration because I accidentally put a thin layer over my entire face thinking it would clear me up faster. I would not recommend you use on entire face as it will dry you out very fast. I would use sparingly in problem areas instead because it does indeed work to dry out pimples. Use on spot or small areas and it will work great. Great product for the cost and over the counter makes it better.

Good value
Adapalene works well for me to smooth out small bumpy area of my forehead. This is the best value adapalene I can find and it works well. I’ll continue to order it, and can’t think of a better endorsement than that.

Reliable and Effective Acne Treatment
I usually buy a different store-brand adapalene gel, but when it was sold out at several locations, I decided to give AcneFree a try. I’m happy to report that it works just as well as the other brand I’ve been using. The ingredients are identical, there’s no added fragrance, and it keeps my skin clear and healthy. Since I’ve been using adapalene gel for years, I was able to jump straight into using this once daily. This 1.6-ounce tube is a great value and an excellent alternative to other brands. If you’re familiar with adapalene or looking to start using it, this product is a reliable and affordable option. I’ll definitely keep it in mind the next time I need a refill.

Haven’t noticed a difference
I had high hopes for this product. It was recommended for not only blemishes but also dark spots such as Melasma. I wanted it for melasma and used it daily as directed. It’s been months and honestly I cannot tell a difference. I really hoped it would work but there’s no change. I don’t think it’s a bad product and maybe it works great for acne. I don’t know. I thankfully don’t suffer with acne.

Updated. Hated it at first Learned my mistakes and now love it
I have asian tan skin with alot of indented scars and blackheads and redness. Used to have bad acne but it got more controlled. Noe juat decided to use the product to help with old century long blackheads and scars. So the product Made my face clear the next day and super soft. I love it at first. Now is my third week and it seems to be making small pimples pop out. Use it 2x a week. Not sure how to feel about it but scared because it is super noticeable. My face gets red and dry after the 2nd week And remember only to put a small dab. Will update. My face gets itchy too. Not sure if that is the sunscreen or the product but we shall see if there is a diff in another 2 weeks.Update oct 2020Skin is getting better plump and clearer worth the money just remeber to keep skincare simple when using this and always always a small dab no matter how tempted you are at putting more to cover the face. Bc if you do ur face will turn pink indicating a burn or irritation LOL. From today there is Not much acne and bumps where it was before when i first started. My purging period was scary and irritating but it seems better now. Only issue like i said before is My face got dry and so on days that i dont use this( which i use 1-2 x a week) i use serum and moisterizing toners. Yea works great and this products keeps my acne at bay love it and since it is my first retinoid. I love it after hating it at first. So 4 stars! Overall Only 10 bucks. Just buy it and try it and give it timeUpdate 2021 mayI can now use it every night. My skin is used to it and now I'm applying it on my neck too. Def worth the time and money because I can feel my face firming up and not as saggy as before. Worth the money time and wait. Might be scary at first but time and patience will reward you and your skin!
