Q: Why is it only rated for 160F ? Isn't it all brass?

It’s solid brass and should. I use it on my Toyota Landcruisers heater core plumbing. The only thing I can think of is if fillers are used at the joints but looks like solid brass to me. Works well so far.

Q: Are these lead free and can be used for drinking water hose connections in my boat? Thank you

Don't believe anyone that says these are free of lead. One, if it was a lead free product they would hype that and charge more, two, they are NOT marked lead free, and three, they mention every possible use for this EXCEPT culinary uses.

there are 3 tees-the "barbs were kinda small and I had a small air leak
