I was asked what I wanted for Christmas and this is one gift I got for a stocking stuffer. This three disc set has all their best hits from the early 80's to the late 90's. It is the best gift you can give to a DM fan or any 80's music lover.

Only gets 4 stars because the packaging has cds marked with wrong titles on all 3 cds. But I marked each 1,2 and 3 which helps. Otherwise great quality with a majority of all their great songs.

I have been wanting this 3 - CD Box Set for a while now. And I scored a gift card to Amazon from the family for Christmas. I did not hesitate to order this, and Depeche Mode did not hesitate to pull out all the stops. Great music, hard to find imports and some live stuff to top it off. I listen to this three straight Thursday nights, taking one disc at a time, and it proved out to be worth every penny!This is an absolute must have for ALL hard core DM Fans! You'll have three compact discs plus the liner notes in booklet form. Invest in it.

Love love love Depeche Mode and this boxed set is great. It covers all of their hits. I like the way they are divided by dates.

You like Depeche Mode but you're on a budget, this is the perfect way of adding a quality selection of their hits to your music collection. The Singles 81>98 is quite simply the soundtrack to the evolution of the band itself. Depeche Modes early youthful and ever so charming electronic pop music grows into the angry and addicted, mentally damaged musical beast. I'm sure if you asked the band themselves, they wouldn't change a thing! Brilliant!
