Why is my brand new charger flashing red then green? Its like an animation effect.

I had the same problem with this charger right out of the box. It turned out that I was using an older "cube-style" Apple wall charger. I unplugged it and instead used a newer Samsung wall charger and it is now working properly. Saved me from having to return it.

Does this rechargeable item recharge Duracell AA batteries?

As long as the battery is a rechargable one, any brand will work. I use many brands in this charger. Just make sure they're rechargeable.

What does the no 1.5v aa mean? i want these for my son's wii remote controllers. will they work?

The 1.5V is maximum volts the battery is capable of producing, yes I do believe these will fit in a wii remote as they fir perfectly in my xbox one controller. They should last a very long time before having to be changed out. I get several hours of play time out of mine. And they are the best rechargeable batteries I have found out of many brands that I have tried! Thank you and I hope this helped T. Franz

How long is battery life when used in wireless security cameras?

I can’t answer your question directly because I use them in a trail cam not a security cam. I will say that they lasted quite a long time in my trail camera exposed to severely cold winter temps.
