Monarch Specialties TV Stand with 1 Drawer, 60"W, White

Came well-packaged, with no damage or missing parts whatsoever. The color is true to the image, a nice wood-grain grey. My photo makes it look a bit warmer because it has both natural light from the window and the glow of my electric fireplace in the photo, so you will see some variance depending on your room's lighting, of course.It's not real wood, and anyone with any sort of experience with pressed wood product versus natural wood will be able to tell immediately, but looks and feels significantly more solid than most similar products and doesn't have any peeling/uneven finish/warping as can be common with pressed wood products. It does not give you that "ugh, obviously cheap" feel that so many pressed wood products can, if you know what I mean? There's no shiny/almost plastic-y finish here.It was extremely easy to put together, took me maybe 45 minutes on my own, and will probably be much faster for someone without a working memory disorder like myself! The instructions were clear and concise, all parts were labeled, and everything fit together snugly and easily. It is extremely solid and easy to move, there was no creaking, it's very stable. I think this would be able to survive several moves as long as you weren't extra rough with it or anything; it seems much more solid than my Ikea desk, for example.I am very impressed. I prefer actual wood furniture when possible, but we all know that in this price range that requires a lot of luck, and weathered grey stain real wood furniture seems rare. I will be purchasing more from the Monarch Dark Taupe collection for my bedroom once I narrow it down to which piece I want!EDIT 7/27/2023: Almost six years and two moves later, I'm still impressed. No warping or peeling of the wood, no wobbly connections. It survived some careless movers that managed to permanently mess up my office chair & destroy the back of a cheaper standalone shelving unit, so doubly impressed that this console table didn't take any damage. I have two other pieces of Monarch furniture that show the same resiliency. Assuming their quality level hasn't changed, I would not hesitate to order more furniture from them in the future.

I really love this media center piece. Matches my couch color wise, fits all of my AV equipment and my computer, along with a 55" TV. Pretty good quality wise, assembly took me about 45 minutes being decently experienced. My only concern is that the top shelf tends to slope down towards the end that is not supported. I ended up using a little rubber plug sitting on top of my AV amplifier to get the shelf to be level. Honestly design-wise there is no way for that shelf to be level because of how it is structured. That was going to happen regardless. But! Would absolutely recommend and I get compliments all the time from my friends!Another con, it did arrive a week later than it was supposed to, but, this is also during the rise of covid-19 in New York where this came from. So I will definitely give the seller a pass on that one.

First of all, this delivered DAYS faster than projected. Literally 2 days and it arrived. I was shocked to see it show up so fast.2. The packaging is loaded with styrofoam panels to protect the wooden pieces so prepare to either remove the pieces outside, or prep for a cleanup after assembly. Very well packaged though.3. I had a power drill so the process was much easier. I recommend anyone use it. Package does NOT come with screwdrivers. But it has all of the screws needed for assembly. Standard Phillips (+) screwdriver/drill bit is all that's needed.4. Overall assembly took about maybe an hour. But I did it alone. If you have help, it may go quicker. Instruction book doesn't have written instructions. It's pictures. The wooden pieces are numbered and you have to follow along the images. Not bad.5. The back vertical panel is really good for hiding the cables. I thought it would work from the pics, it REALLY works in person!6. In the end...WOW. Just an absolute aesthetically-pleasing modern & contemporary piece for any living space. I was initially drawn to this because of its unique and abstract design and am blown away and FULLY satisfied with this purchase.10/10

I really love this entertainment center, since I got it put together. The outer packaging was a fairly damaged and dented, thanks to fed ex. Thanks to the great packing job by Monarch Specialties, the contents was in perfect condition. The color is awesome with my grey oak floors.I would have given it 5 stars if not for the assembly process. Some of my pieces were not marked, which left me counting holes in boards and trying to match them up with the positioning in the pictures to figure it out. The images for the tracks for the drawers were unclear, and as the track pieces were not marked, it was a bit of trial and error getting the drawer part right.Overall, I would recommend this entertainment center. Properly assembled, it is very sturdy and looks great!
