Cleaver, Simple, and Useful.
Have purchased these for my own use and to give as gifts. Makes storing butter sticks in the frig so neat and easy. Also measures 1 TBSP with the width of the top of the cap, cleaver idea. I wash them by hand, not in the dishwasher to help preserve them. A bit pricey, but unique idea and very useful. Never found them in any stores in my area, glad I found them online. Didn't mind the price because I didn't need very many of them and they were sure worth it.

Too Expensive for What it Is
Very overpriced but works well and stays on. No more open butter hitting floor when we open the fridge door. But, really, price is way too high.

Still look and perform like new after 2 1/2 years
I bought all three sizes of this product 2 1/2 years ago. They live in the butter keeper and are used all the time. Being silicone, they look and perform like new. I'm fairly happy ,except that they ten to fall off. The design should be about 1/4" deeper, especially for the Irish model.

Perfect little cover that works exactly as intended
I have both West and East coast sizes and the are true to size. I've lived on both sides of the country and the butter stick shapes do differ. If you're in the middle of the US, you'll have to measure your butter sticks. I've had zero issues with fit and function, and they clean easily as silicone does. For those that complain about the price, well, Amazon prices fluctuate; I paid $5.99 for one and am happy with that. SO much so that I've given them as gifts.

Not Recommended. Butter Saver is just a cheap yellow cap.
Really...this is just a yellow silicone cap? I thought this was an actual container for the butter stick with a yellow cap and then another cap. You can't tell from either the picture or description that this is just the yellow end cap. This ad and item is really deceiving. The description states: "Reusable and durable end caps designed to help keep your butter stick protected" but this can easily be interpreted to mean that the butter saver is a container that has more than one reusable and durable end cap (they used the plural caps). What I got was a complete ripoff for the price of $6.99 - this is more like a dollar store item. I'm not sure how this cap helps to save a butter stick as most of the sticks of butter I buy are a tough paper that will not cut smoothly (their picture looks like it is put on a butter stick that has not been opened). Bunching up the paper as you progressively use up the stick of butter means that there will be gaps in the side where the paper overlaps if you use this cap. The restocking fee makes it difficult to send small items like this back. My recommendation is that you don't bother with this item. I'm going to stick with cutting up the butter stick and putting it in a dish.

Worth the $$
Great buy! I don't use sticks of butter or margarine regularly so when I just need a few tablespoons, I usually have to open up a whole stick because the old one that had been opened got gross. This has saved me so much butter! What's great is that when I even cut crooked it fits on there perfectly. It's easy to wash and small so it can easily be thrown in a drawer when not in use.

Butter Saver
Great idea but its too small for Costco butter sticks, I assumed they would fit although the dimensions were provided, better check dimensions of your butter stick before you buy

Handy and convenient
I agree with other reviewers that $6.99 seems a bit overpriced for this because when it comes down to it, it's just a piece of rubber. But, there's not really a comparable product out there. And it is worth it for the convenience of just sticking it on the end of a cut stick of butter and not having to bother with wrapping it up or putting it in a container to keep it fresh.
