Good value, great result.
It’s an all around good trolling motor. Got it mounted on a 14’ fiberglass bass boat and it does great!

These motors are great I've had other brands before but always went back to Minnkota I live in Florida were the lakes are heavily weeded and the rivers heavy stumps the motor plows right through it no problem just buy you a wedge prop cause it does not come with one

Defective, Customer support giving the run-around
Bought this for my kayak. After installation, it would not stow with the motor mounted. Stops at a steep angle before lying flat. Contacted customer support, and they claim it is because there is no support under the moving arm. The arm never retracts far enough for supports to make contact with it. Huge waste of money and time. Haven't been able to use it once, and the return window is closed. Minn Kota used to be a reputable company, but apparently, they have joined the other companies that make inferior quality products and use a recognized name to make a quick buck.
