Great For Soups
I add a stick of this to soups I make, and I think it adds a pleasant richness to the finished soup. This is a staple in my household, would recommend to family/friends to give it a try.

The best!
I go through the original dashi constantly. It is my secret ingredient to so many dishes, and I have even used it for an emergency substitution of fish sauce or Worcestershire sauce. Would never go back to hondashi, this just really has a more nuanced flavor. Needs time to simmer and settle.

Very tasty, low sodium, pairs well with a bit of miso, sesamie oil in a bowl not gluten free!
very easy to make as a base for ramyun or miso soup. makes a great stock to boil fixings in , one pot style. super easy wfh lunch. and look no added msg! its great, however it does contain gluten so my roommate cant have any. oh well, more for me!!!!

This is good stuff & the first time I had ever had it.
I used this to make Tempura sauce and it is a must. I add it to other things now for a nice different kick.

Delicious
I'm used to cook a large batch of Awase dashi from scratch and freeze it for later use. But this powder actually makes more delicious dashi.
