Good product without instructions
I love it. My only criticism is I wish it came with instructions on how to put it together and how to draw with it. I wound up spending a couple hours on YouTube learning how, and there are a serious lack of instructional videos. It works great if you can figure out on your own how to master it. Over all I'm satisfied with the product, but disappointed in the lack of instructions

difficult to know how to use
There are no instructions/tips on how to put the pieces together in order to utilize all the functions. For instance, how does one anchor the center so as to draw an accurate circle; and what is the function of the magnetic piece.

Useless Product
Useless. The idea of a magnet holding the arms that rotate around to make the lines is OK, but how do you hold the center piece steady? You can't. That is what the tape is for, I presume. At least this distributor was smart enough to include some tape so the center can be stuck down. Without the center tied down the unit doesn't work. The video presentation is just a lie. I don't know how they did it, but I cannot do anything like it. I have to take the little arms off to draw a straight line. Many of these are on sale from several vendors here on Amazon, but none of them will work, in my opinion, because they are all the same as the one I bought. I've decided a grade school compass is the best way to draw a circle, even if it does leave a pin hole in the paper (and my desk). Without some way to secure the blades at specific points around the spinning center, making just-so spirals and other designs is not going to happen. The entire thing is a fraud in my opinion based on using the one I purchased and attempted to use for several hours.Bah! Do not buy.AD2

Domon
Was quite small. Found it clumsy to manipulate. It was not what I expected. I will be returning it.

Got it for fun, may actually use it for work!
Lots of fun to use. I use it for doodles, but I'm getting more and more into the technical uses as well.

No directions for use
It came in pieces with no directions on how to put it together nor how to begin using it. I searched UTube, and found videos about it; but none that gave an accurate description on how use it.I am very disappointed. I was looking forward to trying it; but never figured out which piece went where. Now I have 2 magnets stuck together and can’t get them apart. I hope someone from the company reads this and offers directions; or I am going to return it to Amazon.

Clever little toy but misleading advertising
Really wanted this to work. It's almost impossible to deep the center piece from sliding around as you're using it for a compass. I've tried holding it down, I even routed out a circle in a thin piece of wood and embedded a rare earth magnet to sit this on, it still moves too easily. otherwise it's a neat little ruler (really little) and a small somewhat french curve with several little shaped cutouts. I'm not sure what they were thinking when they took the pix for the product. One of the pictures shows both arms and a persons hands, the arms look big compared to their hands. I think they took a picture of it, blew it up really big and then someone put their hands on it to take the picture. The curved arm is about the length of my little finger. Their picture shows the curved arm going from the end of the little finger to well past their shirt cuff. On my hand that's about 9 inches. I'm a pretty big guy but that persons hand would have to be about 3 inches from wrist to end of longest finger. Either they are purposefully misleading or they found someone with really really tiny hands, which I guess is still misleading.
